4th Gen Anything Particular About Pokemon HeartGold And SoulSilver?

Is there any information that I would need to know before getting these games? Like is there anything different gonna happen depending how I start? (Like which fossils you get in Pokemon Platinum depending on your Trainer ID)

Um...for that, I'd check the FAQ thread (there's a general info summery in the third post there) and websites like serebii or bulbapedia would tell you more. There's nothing really specific like trainer id choosing what fossils you get though asaik, bar maybe the version exclusives (which is included in the FAQ =P).
