Apple Sucks!!!

don't get me started on their computers; the d*mn
things don't work with any of the software and programs for windows, only with the special ones bought from apple.

Sigh....it's the misguided people like you that I feel the most sorry for. I bet you have never even seen or used Mac OS X in your life. You probably understand very little about computers to be complaining about OS X being incompatible with Windows applications. Well guess what, Windows is also incompatible with Mac applications! Isn't that amazing? Too bad, it looks like you won't be able to enjoy some of the most amazing applications out there such as Final Cut Pro, the iLife suite, Quicksilver, etc.

apple is constantly screwing over their own customers and everyone else

Oh yes, I'm sure Apple is screwing us over by improving their operating system while Microsoft seems to be degrading their operating system more than improving it.

Well to be fair, I doubt anyone that can't afford a Mac in the first place can afford Final Cut. :P Which I'm sure would have been the perfect argument had Albino used price in the initial rant. :P

Oh, fine, I admit that much. ;) But you will never find an alternative to Quicksilver on Windows. Never. (And it's free too :)).

To be fair, apple has a right to exist. I'll say that.

[PokeCommunity.com] Apple Sucks!!!

Heres my issues.
1. I don't see a reason for them to really exist. There running Intel processors now...its just a more pretty PC pretty much.
2. OSX...Why? Just why?
3. IPod and IPhone - Two products that just don't touch my life. They look cool and all, but eh.

I would have much more respect for apple if they destroyed OSX, and went straight PC. Then I would see a reason for there existence. IF they slashed prices also that would help. I really would like them to make a low end series of straight PC's, that are pretty. I'm not talking the mac minis, but more like the IMAC, but cheap. I think they would make a killing.

Also, I'm disturbed about the Aluminum Apple Imac censorship issues that have been occurring, https://www.tomshardware.com/2007/12/19/apple_display_update/ if anyone cares to read. From what I know, the issue is still unresolved.

Are you saying you want Apple to become another of the many (Windows) PC manufacturers (HP, Dell, Sony, IBM, Toshiba, etc.) and that would be a good reason for them to exist? That may be a reason, but that's certainly not a good reason. There are so many (Windows) PC manufacturers already in that market, there would be no point for Apple to join them. Plus, I, along with many more people than you, would curse Apple forever if they ever started putting Vista on their computers. Apple's reason for existence right now, is much more important and consequential then what you want them to be. Apple's purpose right now (disregarding the other stuff they do, as well as to make money (which is what almost every company exists for)), is to offer an alternative to the abomination that is Windows Vista. And, I, for one, appreciate that alternative.

I'm afraid that makes no sense as Linux also runs on the x86 architechure, but that doesn't mean there is no reason for it to exist. In addition, most people who buy Macs don't care as much about the architechure the OS runs on. People usually buy Macs to use the OS.

Apple would probably make a lot more customers if they sold the OS and hardware independently. Since that would probably almost halve the cost.

Also, relating to that image - A fish bowl. We have a nice purple one we're going to try that with. :P
