I did this, Note it is not done it is just something i did to make a funny. This is only for this competition once it is over i will eventually finish what it is going to be. I did use the circle tool to make the sheild. But Once again after the contest that will be changed.

This is Chalenor from my fic, and at the moment he is angry, but his markings look better green than red so I made them green even though they're supposed to be red when he's angry.

 

[Gary the Magic Fairy]

This is my entry. -Even though it looks like I used the real sprites, I did them pixel by pixel, while looking at the originals(I did use the colors of the originals though)
