ok, aquarian age is a popular card game/manga/anime in japan about supernatural warfare between members of five factions. these 5 factions fight for control of earth. mindbreakers are special people that tap into the hidden powers of these faction members and they have ranging abilities. they do not fight though. This RP takes place in city of Leaon, a city full of supernaturals.
here is some faction info along with links to faction logos that players may put in their sigs:
Arayashiki faction : these are warriors who practice eastern techniques and magic like martial arts. they include warriors like kung fu masters, ninja, spiritualists, buddhist monks, samurai and such. kind of like genjyo sanzo from Saiyuki.
Darklore : members of this faction are descendants of the most ancient races often seen in mythology and folktales. i would say they are the most varied group. they include vampires, werewolves, a host of lycanthropes, demons in human form, reincarnations of demon gods, pretty much anyone who has another form. another example of a darklore would be goku from saiyuki, or even a catperson. darklore are my favorite because there are a lot of possibilities for unique characters in this group. it could be anywhere from an olmec jaguar god to a ratman ^__^
E.G.O. : the E.G.O. are a pretty modern group. they are psychics, and i'd say they are the hardest to detect because they blend in the best with everyday people. the initials stand for Evolutional Girls Organization, but all the members are not girls. it was started by females, but has male members as well. these members have powerful mental capabilities ranging from mind-reading, to telekinesis. they are very smart and very organized. they can be your average businessman/woman, lawyer, engineer, high school student, anyone. that is what makes them soooooo cool. remember, there are other forms of psychic power....they can be cryokinetic[control water], pyrokinetic[control fire], aerokinetic[wind], anything. a very, very, versatile group. many of them are behind advances in technology today becasue of their inteligence.
Wiz-dom : members of this faction are practicioners of western magic....they can be wizards, knights, pretty much any magic user that lives in the western world like europe and israel, egypt and such. an example would be harry potter himself, or a paladin [knight who can use magic]. some more examples would include witches, mages of all sorts, and alchemists. ed from Full Metal Alchemist and robin from Witch Hunter Robin fall into this group. Even a priest can be a wiz-dom member, the best example would be an excorcist. that is why darklore and wiz-dom fight a lot.
Erasers : this last group is the newest to join the war...they are otherworldy [aliens possibly], but do not think 'men in black'. i'm talking about angels....this group attacks other groups and some are extrememly powerful. they are even named after angels in the bible and other books found in babylon and persia. the other factions avoid members of this group. it is believed they are here to invade earth and purge darkness from it. they claim to be armies of God and bring trials to mankind. an example of this group is the angel Michael, leader of God's army. in the manga, he is the leader of the invasion of earth. this group's members sit high above the clouds in cloaked ships because they are very advanced technologically. they have androids disguised as humans for surveillance of earth. i don't want to many members of this group because they are a little too poweful, so yeah.
mindbreakers [no symbol] :these are people who usually get a group of faction members from the other groups and stick with them for their own purposes. they have the power to enhance the powers of these other groups and to a certain extent control them. they do not fight though, so if you are a mindbreaker, do not get all power hungry because the last thing you want are your friends turning on you. some are called 'master' by their subordinates because of their ability, but others are just there to help their friends out by increasing their powers. feelings play a big role in the increasing of power. say i was a darklore and i was in love with my mindbreaker. i would draw strength from those feelings. this is what makes a minbroken supernatural very dangerous. another thing to consider is that members of the above factions must leave their factons to be with a mindbreaker. groups of mindbreakers and their guardians have their own purposes in their fights, and are powerful,often a more-than-formidable combination .

okay so you're a student at Cyrus and you're part of a faction or a mindbreaker...the Aquarian Age has started and strange things have been happening around school. people are attempting time-freezing binding spells that affect normal humans, but you are a supernatural so you just either think you are dreaming or you know very well what is going on. will you stay loyal to your faction?Side with a mindbreaker?stick with your friends? Fight alone? it's all up to you.
okay to start this off, you must fill out a form. there may only be 12 characters right now, but we only need a handful to start. there may only be a few minbreakers[one per group]. only two mindbreakers to start off with. fill out his form if you are interested and include the logo of your faction in your signature:

Power: He is the unaware reincarnation of a demon named Suvato. nothing else is known of him because his powers have yet to awaken.
Information: A quiet and enigmatic boy. he stays away from crosses due to hid Darklore bloodline, and avoids priests and confession. he is 5'10 and is a member of the basketball team at Cyrus Private High School. he is somewhat popular among the kids at Cyrus, yet he seems to be in his own world as of late. he is haunted by nightmares, possibly suppressed memories of a past life.
