    I have no idea really where to post this, so if it's in the wrong section, please move it!!
    Ok, I have a regular ARDS and an ARDSi, I have pokemon B / W and need to use either one of them for ONLY cloning, but cannot figure out how, and yes, I have the discs for both!!

    You'll have to make another copy of the pokemon via pokesav(of course you'll need to know your secret ID and such), once that's done, export the save as a code for the AR and use it normally with your action replay. Though it's best that you put it in an empty box so you don't erase on your pokemon.

    Actually, you don't need to do that. There is a clone code out there & its far easier to that then go do the troubles by doing PokeSav.
     
    Neither of my AR's are reading any of my B / W games, that's really what I do not understand??
     
    Any body know how to fix this problem please??
     
    Ok, once again I'm asking!! I have an ARDS and an ARDSI, I want to use either one of them for cloning purposes on my B / W games, I know I need the firmware update, I have googled it, youtubed it, with little or no help, I hook up my ds to my laptop and the usb cable, the circles just go round and around forever, what is it doing this for please??
     
    Yes, but when I googled it, it says that you can use a regular ards for b/w, but I also have a ardsi, and it also doesn't let me play either of those games??
     
    I was told I need to update my firmware for these games to work, but I cannot find one to work for me??
     
    There are answers for cloning codes if you search on google.

    No pokesav needed.
    I've been cloning in my black for a long time with a simple cloning code. Not gonna link though since idk if it's allowed.

    My regular dsar will not even read either of these games??
     
    I don't know, but I had AR and used it on my Heart Gold game, and it worked, but when I got B/W, it wouldn't work, even when I entered that ID code.
