Umm, just saying, flare blitz has recoil...
People plan on killing a pokemon in one hit with a strong attack; I don't want to lose a third of my health or more doing it...
I like heat wave...

a third of your health!? Not really. Flare Blitz is better than Heat Wave because it is a physical and Arcanine is a Physical Sweeper. Trust me, you will want Flare Blitz on your Arcanine. Also, if you do flare blitz and lose HP, you will power up your Reversal attack by losing HP. Heat Wave would be good on someone like Ninetales or Typhlosion that has great Sp.Atk stats.

Thanks, I couldn't decide which one too use, but now that you said he has higher atk then I'l go with blitz. It has the same sp. atk and atk on serebii...
