Arceus is God In/for Pokemon?

Yeah, it seems to be pretty firmly established that Arceus is the one responsible for the creation of the Pokemon Universe, and as such is very strong. I would say it just created, and then slept, biding it's time, but it learns Judgement, and that kind of insinuates a similarity between Arceus and God as a judge of people (or Pokemon, as the case may be.), which emphasizes a more active role in the Pokemon universe than simply waiting for a ten-year-old with a Master Ball.
 
For those that can't possibly imagine Arceus as a god being caught by a ten-year-old: please note that many religions the world over have featured stories of their gods at one time or another being subdued and even killed. Arceus doesn't have to be a strictly Judeo-Christian-Islamic god, and even if he was there are plenty of in-Bible stories of god being subdued (case in point, the Morning Star waging war on Heaven). The Gnostics even believe that the "God" featured in the Old Testament was actually an angry, spiteful god that was overpowered by the "Love thy neighbor", "take my son" God in the New Testament. The narrow view of religion existing in America simply can't be placed onto a video game made by Easterners.

Not only that, but if you still can't buy the possibility, then where is it ever stated that the Arceus in the games is the "true" Arceus? It could very well be an avatar of the original, sent out as a, dare I say it, messiah for the express purpose of being caught. It needn't have all the power of the cosmos.
 
There can be more than one God, and it's just a Myth anyway's.

Being a creator doesen't mean you are actulay a god, hell, Humans created MEWTWO and i sure enough don't think we are god's.

I think Arceus is God's pokemon and that Arceus created all pokemon
THERE WAS A BIBLE STORY TOLD IN AN EP.!!! when they were stranded Brock told the story of Jonah's Ark and Ash sent his Pidgeotto to find land; JUST LIKE JONAH!!! (this was in the first series) :D
