Going to be Giratina, a Event pokemon has never made it to the cover of a game. Its only something people would think of if they made a hacked pokemon game. I might be wrong but I highly doubt it.

it will feature reggigas shamin and giritina...

As much as I wish Arceus were going to be the 3rd legend, I sincerely doubt it. It has base stats of 120 all around, making it outclass every pokemon ever created in balance, and it can change type, with a powerful signature move to go with any type it chooses. That alone is probably enough to make it stay an event pokemon. I mean, come on. When you can use one pokemon to sweep most teams with only minor backup, it'd be tough to justify it being as easy to get as Dialga and Palkia.
 
yeah, i agree, as much as i wish it was the third gen legendary, it isn't, and i guess we'll have to live with it
 
I think how they will release Arceus is like how they will do it here for Darkrai. I think in Canada there will be an event for Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus. Im not saying there WILL be one. Im just guessing because the movie is going to come out here and well I think it will be the same as Japan. I hope that will happen.
 
well its usually around a year after there origional release. The event pokemon are the least likely to appear as the main legend. heatran or girantina are the only candidates, leading to heatran to be the most likely as there is a sortof set of ingame events that lead you to him. but its also possible for uxie, mespirit or azelf like suicune in crystal.
A johto remake would be great, lugia and ho-oh are damn cool, it'd be good to go catch them yourself!
 
i guess Giratina. and the Event Pokemon are never going to be the third legendary to be in the game. I guess Giratina is the third game Legendary because it's the only other Dragon-type Legendary in D/P.
 
Arceus is already an event pokemon as it is from what I know. Nintendo just needs to release an event we can get the Azure Flute from. Most likely the third legendary will be Darkrai or Giratina storywise.

Giratina: Each of the dragon trio rule over a certain portion of existance (Dialga is a ruler of time, Palkia is a ruler of space, and Giratina is a ruler of a portion of the realm of Chaos or w/e IIRC). Plus, if you observed the third in each series, it always seems to be one people never cared about. Pikachu was the third in America, and we thought it'd be Venasaur or something. In Crystal it was Suicune (but what else was there?), and Emerald has Rayquaza.

Darkrai: There is a possibility the storyline can be dramatically changed, so you might actually go to that city with the two towers of space and time (as an end storyline type of event, where the two beasts of space and time are released and clash. Darkrai, a rebellous type, fights the two to protect it's home and keep the humans from gaining too much power) where you can eventually catch Darkrai. It happened in Crystal and somewhat in Emerald and Yellow, so why not in the 3rd one?

Still, I'd rather see a Johto remake with a Pal Park and areas where you can find 3rd and 4th gen pokemon (Possibly a populated Orre region?) for the DS.
 
Uh... You guys know that Giratina is part of a legendary trio with Dialga and Palkia, right? Dialga controls time, Palkia, space, and Giratina has oblivion, is my guess. So yeah. Arceus isn't going to be in the third game for the 4th Gen unless they plan on making the plot be that Team Galactic decides to awaken all the legendary Pokemon of Sinnoh ((There are like, 11)), then Arceus comes down to control all of them. With you somehow involved. But that's highly unlikely.

So.

Expect Arceus to stay as an event-only Pokemon.

They will not make a jhoto remake in this generation...

Why you say?

the jhoto balls (a huge part of the jhoto storyline) are not even hackable in DP

i think arceus will be an event... no event pokemon has ever been featured as a main pokemon (minus hooh lugia cus they dont really count)
