Are Ash and co really that dull about Team Rocket's disquises?

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, whats a nicer word for Ash? Oblivious?

No, no... after Orange, Ash does come off as more incompetent in life than the usual 10yr old, but pokemon trainer... he is mediocre at best. I do like some of the new eps, don't get me wrong, but he needs a play guide bad. *Gives Ash link to Gamefaqs*

LOOOL! Funny. There's no way that Gamefaqs could help him. The battle mechanics are messed up in the show.

Well at least one of them isn't SO dull about Team Rocket's disguises. It's Misty. In "The Heartbreak of Brock" Misty knew there was something familar about Jessie. (All she had was glasses on and her hair tied up) And Misty figured out it was her. :classic: *sigh* I miss Misty. :(

In Ash's battle against Lt. Surge, Team Rocket cheers for Pikachu before the match ("in disguise"), and as they run off, Misty yells, "Thanks, Team Rocket!" See? They recognise their enemies, on occasion.

Ash and co. (excluding Max) are just really unfocused, I mean i know this is a show for kids, but come On!!! They should be able to see through some glasses and a hair bun at least!!!

but think about it.. if the disguises were so professional that even viewers cannot recognise, the show might end up being really confusing...
