1st Gen Are perfect dvs feasible I'm this generation?

Is it possible to find good dv pokemon in the wild in virtual console red, blue, and or yellow?

Nope not really but occasionally you can find mons with pretty decent DVs if not somewhat great.

Ok, so this isn't the best method to find pokemon with good ivs when transferring up.

Perfect DVs are mathematically impossible on certain pokemon in Gen 1 due to how the RNG works.

Gen 2 is also affected by this to some degree which has yet to see much research.

I ask cause I was planning a Gameboy competitive team from scratch, then transfer them up and see how the team would fair. That means for gold silver and crystal dv breeding was non existent and would therefore be a statistical nightmare.
