Are you afraid of the dark?

    I'm TERRIFIED of the dark. In my school, the lighting failed and i was stuck in the pitch black bathroom and i screamed my head off ran around ran into a wall and bawled my eyes out It was so dark I been at that school for almost 4 years and i STILL ran into a wall! kyle, some one at the porgram heard me screameing and opened the door. i was in tears. and dashed out the lights were out! that was the 2nd or 3rd power outage today!
     
    Well im not really afraid of the dark, but when ever I watch a really scary movie I get scared of the dark!!!-Like crazy sometimes I am so afraid I cant sleep ! 0.0
     
    No, I'm not afraid of the dark. I was when I was 6.
     
    It all depends what the weather is etc
    if the weather is stormy, thundering, lighting, howling wind or just a very dark night, yes. After I read a spooky book YES. Sometimes I randomly get scared of the dark.
    It'd be really kickarse if I was at my school during a dark thunderstorm. Since my school is the Gothic castle type, it'd be freaking awesome! We'd be afraid to go near the gargoyls, to go in the isolated staircases, be afraid to even take a glance at the turrets and the towers and maybe be afraid of a ghost.....
     
    I was scared up until the age 11 I believe. After getting used to watching those great horrors and all that jazz, I came to like the dark a lot. I rather have my blinds closed than allow blinding heat into my r00m. x_x (my mom hates it when I close the blinds) The dark is also the perfect time to play ManHunt. ^_^ So yea, I love the dark. Of course, I do hate it when something touches me and I can't see it in the dark. It's rather frustrating because I think about it until I find out what it was. o.O

    Nope. Never was, never will. I have naturaly adapted to darkness. I love that feeling. If it's quiet, I can get a little spooked, but normaly I'm okay.
     
    I am somewhat afraid of the dark at points, but I get over it in about 4 secondes. Walking to my car at night...yuck yuck yuck
     
    i wouldn't say that i'm afraid of the dark. however, darkness can make situations scarrier than they would be otherwise. immagine being trapped in a house with a psychopathic beast whos only desire is to hunt you down and cut you up until you bleed to death (or something sick like that). in that situation, i would prefer to have lights on so i could try out some of the moves that i've picked up over the past few years of playing street fighter... "hadouken!" *kills the psycopathic beast*
     
    I've made a complete reversal from the fear of the dark I held as a child. Now, it's when I come alive, so to speak. The dark is when I can concentrate the most, it's when the best programming is on, and without it, I can't get to sleep.

    So, basically, I love the dark.

    I agree with your last point. Sleep is very important.
     
    I'm not afraid of the dark. I am way scarier than the darkness anyways XD
     
    No, in fact I was never afraid of it because my parents left firmly stated tht it's only the abscence of light and no more
     
    No, I'm not scared of the dark at all.
     
    I've never been afraid of the dark... I'm afraid of other things though XD Like PC.
