Are you shy?

I'm mostly outgoing both at net and IRL XD When someone is trying to make fun of me I say things like "@$#%W$^@$&%%#^$&&**$". I think you unsterstood xD I love having big conversation and I'm the one that talking the most in the hole class xD Cool eh? XD

I can be a little shy if I just meet someone. Eventually I warm up to people, fairly quick actually, then I feel perfectly comfortable talking with them and such. =D Unless they're like freakishly weird or stalkerish or...something...then I try to distance myself more from them. XD;

I used to be. when I lived in Florida I was painfully shy. Throughout highschool I was shy.

when I moved to Virginia, it was like a new beginning. I realized I have no reason to be shy. I'm outspoken, and while I know I offend people, I really don't care. The world isn't meant to be politically correct.

I'm much happier with myself having the confidence to say what I want, do what I want, with no reprocussions from my own conscience.

I don't think I could ever live being shy again.
Yea I Know...XD...We From The Same Town Back When You lived Down here...XD

And Im Shy,Very Very Very Shy...(probly cause iv been hurt by like every gurl that iv ever liked/loved)

If by shy you mean quiet, I am at times, I usually don't speak unless spoken to IRL. But I'm not really afraid socialization and speaking to any other person..

haha yeah. you know how stupid Zephyrhills people are. It's a small town where everyone knows just about everyone. You goof up, everyone will know.

Difference is now, I don't care what they know/say/do/think/etc. I think people are gonna be really surprised when I go back down to visit in July.:P

Well...on the Internet I can be shy, but after staying in one place long enough, or talking to someone long enough, I actually end up talking a lot. In school, I'm not really that shy, unless someone I don't know talks to me, or unless I have to read something in front of the class.

I like doing presentations. So long as I'm versed in what I'm presenting, I'm fine doing them. College is full of them. You learn how to master them, and then it's nothing. I hated doing them in high school, though.

Well I can be a shy person around certain people I'm just meeting, but overtime that quickly goes away.

I'm finding as you get older, that shyness slowly goes away.. XD

Well, last year I was very shy and depressed, but I'm starting to come out of that now. I still don't scream out for attention, but now I'll be completely weird in public and not give a crap what everyone else thinks, and I'm more openly hateful toward people who piss me off. :3

A lot of people at my school (especially people I don't like) are used to my shyness and think I'm so antisocial that it's creepy, so when I have to work with them in group projects I try to creep them out by not talking. If they can't figure out how to do something, I'll look it up in the book and do it for them without saying a word. Then I'll sit down and look at them like they're idiots. I get the most weirded out looks from them XDDD

People would think I am, since I generally don't speak much. Although I don't consider myself as shy. I dare to say anything. And I will say anything I find necessary talking about. Online, aswell as in real life.

I'm more quiet than shy. ^^; However, I never tend to speak my mind outside of the internet, and maybe sometimes on it. I'm too afraid to. .-.

Overall... I would say yes, I guess. XD

I'm shy when it comes to speaking to new people and when I'm in class but with my friends I'm fine.

I hate it when I have to walk home on my own because I get paranoid and try to avoid eye contact with everyone.

I used to be very shy, now I'm just a little bit shy. Never really goes away when you get older, but you get over most of the shyness.

I can't believe how many people are shy o.o I'm not shy, I'm happy talking to anyone who's happy talking to me.

To the people who talk to their friends and people they know: How do you expect to make more friends and get to know people if you are too scared to talk to new people. To be honest, being shy means you'll miss out on a lot of fun.

I know, people have always told me that....
Honestly, though, I guess I'd rather have fun by myself. I'm happy just having a few friends, and oftentimes I'm not all that interested in getting to know new people...:nervous:

I am also very shy on the home front. I talk with store customers (beyond transaction prompts) about politics, and that's about it. On the Internet I will open up about anything that makes me mad, which thankfully isn't common these days. The exception is the youth summit — it's easy for me to talk to anyone there.
