Okay, this is something really confusing me at the moment.
You know some Pokemon have an ability they learn from the 'start' as in, before they level at all. I've been trying to teach an Ariados Bug Bite but have no idea how (other than move tutor which isn't available to me yet). Basically, he's the issue.
- It's listed as Ariados learning Bug Bite from "---" level, meaning from the beginning, but spinarak however, does not. Breeding Ariados obviously ends up with a Spinarak that doesn't have the move.
- Ariados can't learn the move as an egg move by breeding with other types of Pokemon.
- When you catch Ariados, they are always high enough level to have learnt moves way further up the level scale than Bug Bite.
So my question is, what are these moves that Pokemon apparently learn from the start? And how can I get an Ariados to learn Bug Bite without using the Battle Frontier move tutor?
Any help would be appreciated.
