ariados needs a new evolution

    i dont know if this is the right place to post but...

    ariados is my fav pokemon since crystal cuz he was cool imo

    ariados should get something along the lines of a tad bigger and darker...and mayb 8 legs...on the ground and a decent movepool ><

    and probably a type change to bug/dark

    i know alot of other pokemon need new evolutions but ariados is my fav :D
     
    This can go in Pokemon General. And I don't think Ariados needs to evolve. No more new evos. Please.

    We don't need more pokemon that make Rhyperior or Tangrowth seem like excellent ideas.

    I actually wouldn't. Ariados is weak, and with Spiderweb/Baton Pass... if it was faster it could actually be useful. I wouldn' mind a separate spider family though... Tarantula maybe?

    Ew no. Its speed won't skyrocket or anything. Its already pretty good with Shadow Sneak + Sucker Punch to make up for its lack of speed.

    ...Bad comparison, but the closest I could think of. Don't think of Porygon-Z as an evolution per say, but more like an mutant counterpart to Porygon2 with higher stats.


    Anyways, on topic:

    Ariados was meant to be one of those throw away, super common bug (yes, despite being based of a spider, Ariados has six legs, like a bug) types with garbage stats anyways, and giving it an evolution wouldn't make much sense. Not saying that it doesn't need it, though it does have a few niches where it can be useful, most notably against some of the top-tier legendaries.






     
    No, there really shouldn't be another evolution for old Pokemons. Even if Ariados does get an evolution, then what about Ledian?

    Things should stay the way it is. There's already enough evolutions from Gen. IV to last for a while..

    I wouldn't mind a new evolution for Ariados. =P And everyone else, there is such a thing as an everstone. =3
     
    I couldn't see an evolution for him. skorupi/Drapion seems like a Sinnoh adaptation of Spinarak/Ariados, and it's even better, imho, than it. Even though they look drastically different. They are both bug poke's with bug/poison/dark movesets. Drapion is more flexible to me though. I like him a lot.
     
    skorupi and drapion evolution has bug/poison --> dark/poison

    ariados is a neat pokemon but u r right theres also ledian and quite a few other bug types that have low stats but the majority of bugs are low tier pokemon

    maybe there are alot of evolutions but thats what makes pokemon... pokemon; the process of getting stronger and look cooler while keeping a 4 moveset thing :D

    I'd actually like an ariados before they made a new evo for it. darn nintendo for not putting it in SoulSilver!
     
    lmao only thing is it wouldnt resemble his earlier evolutions and reminds me of skuntank

    but think, the only bugs used in regular battle (that i remember) are heracross, scizzor, yanmega...mayb armaldin or w/e thats from a fossil but theres no bug/dark from what i remember

    mmmm they need more bug/water to...surskit just doesnt fit well, to be somewat off topic..

    something like a dark grey with the spike in the middle of his head and his feet touching the ground...always wierd how the middle feet were up in the air...

    or a new tarantula pokemon like that 1 guy said and had fur that rivaled don king that was bug/dark or mayb steel depending on the fur lol
     
    I feel like Ariados is a perfect Pokemon without an evolution. I wouldn't trust a generation V new evolution anyways. I could just picture the horror of how bad it would be. ;o;

    There is no need to fix something that isn't broken.
     
    maybe not Ariados but maybe Corsola or Miltank and Tauros have a shared pre evo
    and maybe an evo for Pinsir too
     
    I think they should hit random pokemon that don't evolve (as of yet, one never knows) before they evolve that old bug. Like Dunsparce, I didn't even remember it existed untill Soul Silver reminded me. So I think that they shouldn't evolve it, or if they do, make others evolve first, they're lonely! :<
