oooohkahaaaay. welp, i've got another two in the works. (for anatomy and 'fancy stuff' just nifty tips and decoration/texturing)
i just figured that, being an actual full-scake artist, there are a few things that help when i sprite. but no-one seems to tell you spriters how to do it. so. NOW I DID 8D! YAY. *ahem*
but the first two installments of my new artistic fundementals tutorial are here XD' COLOURING AND SHADING >D; yes. theyre lame. *never done tuts before and boy, you can TELL.
but hey, the facts are all there. just interpret it as you want and use it how you will. just dont steal whats not yours. :3 kz0rz? X3' *SHOT*

keke nice one. i think you should either darken the step numbers or use lines to separate each step. i think it's safe to assume that someone who doesn't have the artistic fundamentals down would have trouble differentiating between what pieces of information belonged to certain steps... xD just sayin'.

also just one thing to note: that middle "pearly" style shaded ball seems a bit off. one thing that doesn't often happen in work like that is when the light reflects, it only reflects towards a single shade. so that second lighted 'oval' wouldn't glow in between the two (and it probably wouldn't be that large). it would shine in either the light or dark shade.
