    Ok well all know misty has a thing for ash... she keeps it secret (stupid girl) but i think the writers have her keep it secret cuz its more of a kids show.... but oh well... But ok say misty did tell ash that she likes him.... does ash even like misty that way? i dont recall him ever saying or hinting back that he has feelings towards misty? i remember in 2nd pokemon movie misty admitts to liking ash to Melody... but i was disappointed when that plot didn't carry over to the 3rd pokemon movie...

    Well, as much as the AAML world would like to see the big confession happen, I don't think it's going to really happen. O_o I believe Ash is too focused on his journey and becoming a Pokemon Master than being "in love."

    I mean, near the end of the episode "Gotta Catch Ya Later!" Misty says to herself, "Well, Ash Ketchum...finally, I know how you feel about me." I think that was more of a "closure" comment than a romantic-love-confession comment. Seeing as how they would fight all the time, Ash did truly admit that he was going to miss her. Just like any good friend going away, you'd miss them and tell them sincerely that you would. He openly says to Max, in the 6th movie, that he "miss[es] her everyday." So, clearly they have a deep friendship...but I don't think we'll see the writers plot anything AAML-like anytime soon. It'd be nice to see it happen after the series ends, though...in maybe some other spin-off series similar to Pokemon Chronicles or something. ^__^

    Well, any AAML is really just from 4Kids, I don't know why they want to ship them but they do. Originally the song from Gotta Catch Ya Later was a dramatic montage of Misty as a character/trainer rather than the romantic lead the dub set her up to be. That's all she's going to be in the Japanese version.

    Now that PUSA is going to take over, all that probably will die. I don't know, it might as they might take up a 4Kids tradition or two but I doubt it.

    The line the 6th movie from Ash saying he misses her was put in there by 4Kids as well...the Japanese conversation had nothing to do with Misty.

    When I was little I liked that pairing...that died a few years back though, once I was older.

    I can't really see them as a couple, because they're too different, and Ash, like others have said, is too focused on Pokemon, and his journies to worry about a relationship.

    Misty would so want a relationship like that to happen, it's only obvious she likes him. With all of the stuff that she says and does, sigh, to obvious....

    But no offense to Ash fans, he's a little too dense for a relationship. Too focused on his Pokemon Training Journey. Yes, I think Ash misses Misty, but just as a friend

    However, Poke Shipping is a cute shipping, I'm no avid fan, but still, I do like it a little bit ^^

    Agreed Misty wouldn't love anything more in the world than to be apart of Ash's life in the way she wants it Ash may be dense but I think deep down he really does know he loves Misty but is too afraid to admit it and is also focused on his journey and what he wants to become, maybe somewhere along the line in the very last episode or something Ash and Misty may meet up again and fianlly have the courage to say how they feel but if thats so it may not be for a long time now it all depends on the writers who do the show. I personally would like to see that big "confession" myself since I'm a huge Ash&Misty Shipper always have been and always will be for as long as I love the show ^^

    Well, as many have said, this is a kids show ><;;
    So maybe when Pokemon ends (but I hope it'll only end in many years later...), they perhaps show in future, just a straight jump to Ash being a father of a kid (who also aspires to become a POkemon trainer), and then comes Misty, the mother, who pulls the kid's ear and asks him to study or something.. XD

    Okay, I'll go a lil out of topic here...

    Ash (father) tutoring his son and inspiring him to become a pokemon master; and perhaps his son catches a Pichu XD.
    Misty (mother) comes out and pulls her son's ear (like she did with Brock) and asks him to study or go do his homework;
    And maybe their son would address Brock as "Uncle Brock" when he visits Ash and Misty.. (lols)

    So maybe, the show just straight away jumps into Ash and Misty becoming married.. ahh, they wouldn't show the process of them actually falling in love or something.. hmmmmmms.

    Anything is possible miyo but i would love to personally see a Adults only series of pokemon where Ash & Misty are Adults be aired on tv around 9 or 10 pm at night so us older pokeshippers can watch it :D

    Ala MMBN...I like the idea, but I'd rather see the "moment of realization"...and you forgot about Ash's Pokemon, particularly Pikachu (how could you predict an ending without including Pikachu??).

    yeah.. that'll be cool ^^ but I was wondering, would it then make the series less cute? since it has supposedly become more mature? lols XD

    Personally, it might spoil one's impression on the whole series initially meant for kids.. hmmms, maybe just a special episode or something.. a whole series would be weird.. :P

    hahas. actually, I didn't really forget about Pikachu when I posted my made-up ending.. I just couldn't think of what special things Pikachu would be doing.. I could only picture Pikachu just hopping onto Ash's shoulder.. if not, Pikachu could be tutoring Pichu? :P

    Just imagine.. Ash coaching his son, and next to them, Pikachu tutoring Pichu.. lols XD
