Ash and the others' age

I said IN KANTO. And Misty was over 12. Maybe around 16-18, but she was at least a teen (and the youngest Gym Leader, come to think of it).

Why Kanto should have a stupid rule wich prohibits the fact of having young Gym Leader? It's absurd!
And in my opinion, I don't think that Brock is 22! It's too old! I'm rather of the opinion of those wich give him 16 at the maximum.
But finally, is that so important to know their exact ages?

(and as habit, if my english is weird, it's because I don't speak english LOL, so be kind with me please XD)

Well... Well... Well...
This is a topic of dissision, rather than a topic of standard things...
Things we know:
1. Satoshi started off being 10 years old. [Episode 001]
2. On the episode of the Earth Badge in Viridian, in the Kantou League, Ash turned 11. [Episode 063]
3. On the Pichu Bros. special, it was mentioned that, that day was the anniversary of Satoshi and Pikachu. That means 12. [Pichu's Special - More or less in some part above Episode 140, taking into account Charizard's going]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Plot One:

That way Satoshi is "aging up" every about 65 episodes. The series have 468 episodes untill Battle Frontier. That means that Satoshi would be about 17 in logical terms, but let's say he's 16 after going slowly etc...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the other hand...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Plot Two

Taking into account the fact that Kantou Series last a year [EXACTLY], and since until the end of the League it is 1 year and 1/4 (since the League lasts 1/4 of the episodes), every main saga lasts 1 year, plus the league which lasts 1/4 of a year. So, Satoshi being 11 and 1/4, goes to the Orange league. Orange League lasted only 24 episodes, I guess that: Satoshi going to take the badges took about 2/8 of a year, while beating the League would take 1/8 of a year. That means that Satoshi goes back to Kantou being 11 and 5/8. I guess that near the anniversary of the Pichu Bros. he turns to 12. And since we know that Satoshi started the Kantou league in the age of about 10, and it ended when we was 11, that means that a league lasts 1 year. So, by the end of the Adventures in Jouto he is 13. On the League he goes 13 and 1/4. After that we goes to Houen. It takes one year to beat the Gym Leaders (so 14 and 1/4) and after the league ends he is 14 and half. As for the Battle Frontier, I suppose it lasts the same as taking the badges. So, after the Battle Frontier he is about 15 and a half.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm mostly for the second plot, as it seems more logical in my opinion.

Oh yeah! In my country Ash is voiced by a MAN who is forcing his voice to do Ash! He started to voice Ash, when he was 15 years old, now he is twenty-something. His voice is getting younger, than getting older. Rarely women voice boys here.

You should hear the voices in my country :tired: not only that they are voices of grown ups the voice actors also don't catch the right timing to do their voices so preety much ends up like this: when Ash is supposed to say sth we just don't hear nothing and when Misty tries to reply Ash's vice actor is saying what he should have said for Ash.. :tired:

Not to mention that in our country they have dubbed the very names of the pokemon and they are sooooooooooo uncool o______________________O

But to return to topic I agree with Ash_Pokemaster

Wow! There are some things like that but (no things are said)

Well, I now had seen the DP001 to DP004, I see Ash is now at about 14 or 15, because of his body, that now looks like more older (and a little taller), but no voice changes.

Thou shall not goith by thine voices of the show, but yee shall goith by the ages of the show itself. In thine theory, Ash shall be....18 or 19. But, this theory dose not corispond with the looks of Ash. Thus the theory is broken. Yee shall take into account all theories, and test them vigerously. In the end, only the true theory shall triumph!

I love talking in yee old english!

I also think like that, but I don't think he's now 16 years old, I think he's 12-13 years old. In the japanese version it's more easy to notice the voice difference because the voice actress does a child voice in the episodes and in the recents she does a more teenager voice.
I believe by now he HAS to be at least 15...
