Ash?s/Satoshi?s friends and their locations
Pikachu/Pikachuu: Well Satoshi?s Pikachuu is also his dearest friend, they have been together since the very beginning but at first Pikachuu did not like Satoshi and was very disobedient. But that changed at the end of the very first episode where the injured Pikachuu saw Satoshi standing in front of him not allowing the Onisuzume/Spearow through and after that Pikachuu ran up and jumped off Satoshi?s shoulder and did a thundershock. Later on through Kanto Satoshi tried to release Pikachuu and let it stay with his kind but Pikachuu followed him and ran into his arms because he didn?t want to leave his trainer. A similar thing happened to them in the first movie where Satoshi was turned to stone and Pikachu tried shocking him and it had no effect on him and Pikachu started crying and made the other Pokemon and their clones cry which revived Satoshi and things similar to this have happened twice in Hoenn the first was where Pikachu was deluded into thinking that Team Rocket were his friends and until Satoshi saved him from falling off a cliff did he realise and the second time he got brainwashed by Guraadon and after that was over everything was normal again. Pikachuu has been through a lot with Satoshi and they have an unbreakable bond.
Gary Oak/Shigeru Ookido: Shigeru has been Satoshi?s biggest rival since the start; he is also a friend now after he was beaten by Satoshi in the Johto League Silver Conference where we finally found out that his starter Pokemon was Squirtle/Zenigame He is currently doing Pokemon research in his Laboratory.
May/Haruka: Haruka was introduced at the beginning of Pokemon Advanced to be a new Pokemon trainer about to receive her first Pokemon. She is 10 and has decided to be a Pokemon Coordinator. She is currently travelling Hoenn with Satoshi.
Brock/Takeshi: Takeshi is the former Pewter City Gym Leader, until he passed his Pokemon on to his younger brother Jiroo to take over the Gym after he quickly re visited his home after the Johto League. He left to re join Satoshi with only his Forretress. He is currently travelling Hoenn with Satoshi. Takeshi?s Passions are cooking, cleaning and other household chores, which made him, the groups cook and he passion concerning Pokemon is Pokemon Breeding.
Max/Masato: Masato is Haruka?s younger brother, they are both the children of Petalburg City Gym Leader Norman, he tagged along with Satoshi and Haruka once they first reached Petalburg City and went to the Gym. Masato is currently travelling Hoenn with Satoshi.
Misty/Kasumi: Kasumi is a young water Pokemon trainer from Cerulean City who first saw Satoshi in the first episode, she kept travelling around with Satoshi until the end of Johto when she went back to Cerulean City Gym, She has appeared in 2 Hoenn League episodes after which she went back to Kanto, she is currently the Cerulean City Gym Leader.
Richie/Hiroshi: Hiroshi first appeared in the Pokemon League in Kanto, when they first met Satoshi had to hold the lift for him, he also has a Pikachu named Sparky. They soon became friends after Team Rocket stole everyone?s Pokemon. Hiroshi then had to face Satoshi in the Pokemon League right after they got back to the Indigo Plateau, in the battle Satoshi lost to Hiroshi because Sotoshi?s Rizaadon wouldn?t obey him. Hiroshi was knocked out in the following round.
Tracey Sketchit/Kenji: Kenji is a Pokemon watcher. He first met Satoshi and Kasumi when he saw Satoshi battling some goons that were hurting a Lapras. He interrupted the battle and checked the Pokemon out. He ended up travelling around the Orange Archipelago with them and when Satoshi returned to Pallet Town after Kanji ended up becoming Professor Oak?s assistant and he is currently at Professor Oaks laboratory in Pallet Town.
Harrison: Harrison is a Pokemon trainer from Mishiro Town, he was first seen in Johto and gave Bashamo his first appearance in the anime, he first met Satoshi when he was asked to get the Sacred Flame for the Johto League, which was being guarded by a Sneasel/Nyuura that wouldn?t budge, Harrison caught the Sneasle and was the one that knocked Satoshi out of the Johto League when his Bashamo just managed to hang on and Satoshi?s Rizaadon fainted. His current location is unknown.
Masamune: Masamune is a Pokemon Trainer from Verdanturf Town in Hoenn, he first appeared most of the way through Satoshi?s journey in Hoenn, when they first met they had a battle with Masamune?s Beldum/Danbaru faced Satoshi?s Pikachu/Pikachuu, then they quickly became big rivals and competed against each other in every possible way. Then they met in the Hoenn League and faced each other, at the start Masamune couldn?t battle him very well and then after a pep talk from Satoshi they both gave it their all and it ended up in Satoshi winning. Masamune?s current location is watching Satoshi?s match with Tetsuya in the Hoenn League.
Tetsuya: Tetsuya is a Pokemon trainer from Mauville City; his favourite Pokemon is his Meowth that walk like a human just like Team Rockets. The Meowth is dressed in Boots, a handkerchief around his neck and a hat with a feather on it. He first met Satoshi when he helped him out in getting back the Sacred Flame, which Team Rocket had stolen. His team consists of a Meowth, Sceptile, Donphan, Metagross, Shiftry and a Hariyama. He is currently in a battle with Satoshi in the Hoenn League.
