I'm almost afraight to bring up this topic now ... as it is often discussed ^^? ... but I bought the DVD of movie 3 a few days ago and in the audio commentary, the American producers of the movie said that the Japanese producers had promised to reveal something about Ash's dad in season 5. I didn't have the opportunity to watch every episode of that season so I wanted to ask you if they did reveal something. As you guys seem to know Ash better than anyone else I thought you could know.
 
No nothing was revealed. I heard them say that too however it turned out not to be true.
