    Hey people i was watching a pokemon dp episode and i saw this:

    Could this be ashes dad? Or could it just be some random trainer?

    Anyway who do you think ashes dad is then?
    Some people belive its giovanni and other think its the pokemon ho-oh?
    What do you think?
    Oh maybe mollys dad could be his dad...? deila knew him when she was young?

    Might be, the giovanni thing was started in a pokemon live show, so it might not be right., and Ho-oh? How would that make any sense? XD. So yeah, I recon that is probably Ash's dad
     
    he seems pretty young to be his dad but I don't know. I've never seen that. Nice find!

    Hey, is that in a Japanese episode not yet released in English? 'Cause I don't remember that in any episode yet...

    And who really knows, maybe Ash's dad is some random trainer. I think we'll finaaly know at the end of the series.
     
    No, his Dad must have black hair. Because Ash has black hair, his Mom has brown hair, so his Dad must have black hair.

    but, that may be is Dad, but it all depends on where that came frm. What episode is this, cuz that flashback may have nothing at all to do with Ash's dad. But wait, isnt Giovanni's son Silver!?

    the picture is from dp episode 138, some people belive his dad was turned into a ho-oh they think thats why he always sees a ho-oh when starting a new journey!

    I believe he has a dad, just a victim of the "not important, no show" rule prevalent in anime

    theres nothing in that page that tells you about the trainer except "Rapidash's Trainer (flashback)" and somthing about rapidashes size but anyway i dont care if it isnt i made this thread who people to disscuss who you think ashes dad might be...

    And Satoshi's (Ash) nonexistent dad will probably never show, he hasn't appeared back then, so why would he appear now.
    We could ask the same of where Kasumi (Misty) or Shinji's (Paul) parents are, but the only main characters on the show that actually had parents, a Mom and a Dad that we've seen are Kojiro (James), Haruka (May) and Takeshi (Brock). Everyone else either has a Mom, an older sibling or no parents at all.

    Hmm well its really hard to say; that could very well be Ash's father; but it could just be a random trainer, personally I've always imagined his father to have black hair. xD but hey you never know, it could be anyone really. ^^
     
    It looks a lot like him, but I dont think its his Dad, and evidence would back that up, just not stuffed to find any right now.
     
    Why, suddenly, do I see this topic everywhere. After, what, 12? seasons of Pokemon, they have yet to address a plethora of unsettled mysteries, I doubt they ever will.

    He does a bit and he might look like his dad.. plus its only a anime.... brock doesnt look like his mom....
     
    For all we know Delia was...not a very bonded woman... and Ash could have about a thousand dads. You know, like that movie 'Mamma Mia!' except we are dealing with a mental retard.

    But since this is a kid's show, Ash's dad died from the shock of seeing Ash being born "You biotch Delia that ain't mine!"
