Well I'd be nice to actually see the episode. : /
 
Hey Cresken here,

I´m fairly new here but I think it would be
1. Pikachu (powerful moves such as Volt Tackle)
2. Charizard (possibly to learn new fire attack Flare Blitz)
3. Sceptile
4. Ambipom (most likely that Aipom will evolve in DS)
5. Snorlax (not to be forgotten)
6. Crawdaunt (if Corphish ever evolves !!)
 
They might not nessecarily be the strongest but I loved:

Charmander (before it evolved)
Bayleaf
Caterpie (before it evolved)
Pidgeot
Squirtle
Aipom

I don't even like Aipoms tbh I just like Ash's one.
 
Pikachu
Charizard (Will always be nr.1)
Sceptile
Snorlax
Donphan
Heracross

A solid team with all his stronges ones, and they r all different types :)

That would be a fairly decent team. But the anime is complete crap due to the amount of unevolved, yet still supremely powerful, Pokémon Ash manages to use.

Staraptor, if his Staravia ever evolves. If not, Pidgeot.
Primape. I'd put Sceptile but then 3 of his pokemon would be weak to ice.
