Why did Ash have to leave Bayleef with Professer Oak? Bayleef was the only Pokemon he had that really liked and trusted him!
I can't believe it, he leaves a sweet Pokemon that is loyal to him behind,
WHILE KEEPING THAT STUPID PIKACHU! Was Pikachu ever as loyal as Bayleef?
    NO.
    *heart breaks*

Its cause he wanted to start fresh in the Hoenn Region...and personally i didnt like Bayleaf...i think it was in love with Ash!

Yeah... I wondered if Bayleef was going to go crazy because of Ash's leaving...

its probly gonna go into some deep dark dipression without its lover (aka Ash) :P

I always had a thought:If Ash Ketchum did want to start fresh, why did he keep that sad little electric rodent we all know as pikachu?

Yeah, he did want a fresh Hoenn region. I guess Bayleef really misses him.

lol I'm glad someone else thought of this :p lol I wondered it too. It's weird they creat such a strong 'unbreakable' bond and then just give up on it. I liked Cassie's (half asleep so sp?) better, though you could tell when it was Bayleef that it was male as it's voice was actually deeper. I did think that Ash's was a lil OTT at times, but I still think it was sweet. It was kinda wong to wok so hard to level up those ppokemon then get a whole new bunch. If I was one of the old team I'd be kinda depressed. There was no real reason, just an idea that Ash thought would help him....but does it?
