Considering how many Pokemon Ash has captured from all the different regions thus far, any ideas on what his best team would be, given what he currently has?
My thoughts:
1. Pikachu, of course. It's never going to leave his side, and has proven to be very powerful despite its unevolved status.
2. Charizard. Probably Ash's most powerful Pokemon, and frequently used whenever he has to deal with something really powerful. Best Fire-type for the team.
3. Kingler. Sadly, Ash's Water-type roster doesn't include anything extremely powerful, as most are unevolved. Kingler, however, is pretty dependable, and its Crabhammer shouldn't be underestimated.
4. Donphan. With most of the elemental attackers accounted for, a physical sweeper seems to be in order, and this is one of the two best I can think of that Ash has.
5. Snorlax. Good tank, and the other physical sweeper.
6. Sceptile. Ordinarily, I'd put a Psychic type here, but Ash does not appear to have one. With an Electric-type on the team already, a Grass-type seems redundant, but Sceptile's the best battler I can think of at the moment. It's fast, powerful, and can learn a variety of moves, so it should fit in well.
