Ash's other pokemon ?

    So you all might noticed, that Ash has alot of non evolved pokemon at Oak's lab.
    I wonder if he is gonna take them back one day.
    Like totodile, he evolves into a Feraligatr, doesn't Ash want a Feraligatr =P
    And he has even more Pokemon he didn't evolve.
    Bulbasaur didn't want to evolve in the early episodes.
    There many more he didn't evolve.

    So do you guy's think he will someday?
     
    They just don't want to make Ash too powerful so when he's doing a new region he has to struggle. Either that or the writers are idiots. Which I think the writers are just idiots.
     
    Didn't bulbasaur go back to protecting the pokemon in viridian forest?
    Also I could see why Ash wouldn't want a feraligatr
     
    Bulbasaur is Prof. Oaks ambassador for the Lab. You saw an episode of it on Pokémon chronicles, Ash never really used Bulbasaur after Oak took him. Only a couple of times.

    I'm going to go through a list of Ash's Pokémon and see which he should get evolved, or the writers should of done a long time ago. And also name a few Sinnoh Pokémon he should get.

    Current Team

    Pikachu: Stay obviously, durrr.
    Staravia: Evolve it to a Staraptor, then the writers can ignore bringing back Pidgeot sadly :(.
    Turtwig: Stay the same, he seems like a Bulbasaur kinda style.
    Chimchar: Evolve him, I hate him. He's been hurt by Paul, they should prove Paul wrong and get him very strong.
    Builzel: He seems pretty strong already, but he's never had an evolved water Pokémon I think, correct me if i'm wrong. I say evolve.
    Glisgor: Just evolved, loves to battle. Don't evolve (if it can, don't know much about Sinnoh Pokémon)

    Pokémon at Oaks lab

    Sceptile: Well it can't, not Digimon :P
    Donphan: As above.
    Swellow: As above. He does have a few evolved.
    Corphish: I wish he did evolve in Hoenn, he made Ash look much like a rookie.
    Glalie: I loved the fact he evolved, if only Ash used him more.
    Torkoal: Don't think he can.
    Bulbasaur: Nah, he refused to evolve and we've all grown to like him.
    Bayleef: I say no, Ash should bring her back to fight in the Sinnoh league though. Or take her with Pikachu in the next region.
    Cyndaquil: I remember someone saying he should of in a certain episode, when he saw a Quilava and needed evolved Pokémon to stand a chance. Should of then.
    Tododile: I liked the energetic Tododile, his personality would of changed if he did. I say, let him stay as a Tododile.
    Noctowl: The shiny can't, it's great Ash got a shiny and was a big member of the team. Was a great replacement for Pidgeotto/Pidgeot.
    Heracross: He can't, but use him in the Sinnoh championships. He did in Johto, he beat a Magma. Come on!
    Snorlax: He can't, but Ash will always use him when it matters.
    Kingler: The only evolved water Pokémon, we all remember when he used Krabby and it evolved to win all 3 battles. We all loved Kingler, bring him back for an episode please!
    Muk: Well, he can't. But should use the comedy of him taking out Oak from time to time, they don't anymore.
    Tauros (30): They all can't :D. He used Tauros twice, should leave it like that.

    Pokémon that can be called upon

    Charizard: Well, was a Charmander. The best Pokémon Ash had, differant personalities with every evolution. Two with Charizard. We all get goosebumps when he returns. Hands down Ash's best, now especially since he's been flying on Charizard.
    Squirtle: Squirtle squad? My point exactly. He'd only evolve if he gets into Team Wartortle.

    Pokémon Ash should of kept

    Pidgeot: Pidgeot didn't want to stay, what an idiot. He upset so many fans, damn those writers. He said he'd come back, it's very slim though. Maybe next time he goes to Kanto.
    Primeape: He left to become a Champion, Ash was a huge idiot. A mental fighting type that liked him, fool.
    Haunter: If only..

    Pokémon where he done the right thing by letting them go

    Raticate: Traded, but wanted Butterfree back. Too right.
    Butterfree: To make a family with the pink Butterfree, a perfect farewell. They wont see eachother again sadly.
    Lapras: It was an infant, needed it's mother, or Brock.. but he wasn't there.
    Beedrill: Gave it to that annoying girl, but at the time. Beedrill seemed abit like a step-down for Ash's team.
    Larvitar: I so hoped he could of just kept it, but needed it's mother.

    I went on there, drifted off from evolution.

    I think the makers of pokemon don't want ash to have a uberteam.
    Ash's has a Charizard: Fire
    He has a Sceptile: Grass
    If he has Feraligatr: Water
    Those 3 combined, would make ash somewhat uber.

    I don't think ash will ever let his totodile evolve.
    It would be fun to see if he did.
    And yea I think chimchar deserves a final evolution.
    He is already strong and can take some hard hits.
    Turtwig he deserves one too, but I also think they won't let him evolve.

    Maybe one day when the anime of pokemon is over, you see ash and his pokemon fully evolved.
    I just think ash would be stronger if he evolved some of his pokemon.
     
    Well remember Gary had an uber team, mainly because they need him to be better than Ash until, Silver conferance, obviously. Although he still is. He rotated his Pokémon around, Ash had the same team and didn't push his Pokémon like Gary did. They make Ash really strong in things like Orange League and Battle Frontier, two series I liked.

    I'd like to see him catch more and rotate his team more, but the Pokémon he has are also characters for that particular series. In Johto, Ash kept his old team and was a very strong opponant. Until it was gradually changed, then in Hoenn. He seemed such like an experiance trainer, then suddenly. In Sinnoh, he has become a rookie. Most likely to attract a new audiance without them having to watch the previous 9 series. What I found confusing, May has came back in an episode now. With a Venasaur, Wartortle, Blaziken, etc. In a few series, she'll have just as good Pokémon as Ash does in the lab. Ash is the main character, he still needs a good team.

    I'd definatly like him to have a differant set of Pokémon, it's the Water, Fire, Grass, Flying, Electric and whatever, normally a mix. As he had Glalie, Butterfree and now Gliscor, differant sorts of Pokémon for his 6th Pokémon. I'd like him to have a Dragon type, abit much though ey? For him seeming so 'newbie'. But as the series progresses and he edges nearer to the tournament, you'll see the same Ash we all remembered. Bring back Kingler :P
     
    Most of Ash's unevolved pokemon are still as strong as other fully evolved pokemon.
     
    Ash is glitched I swear, no matter what he does all his pokemon seem to "Dodge" then hit the opponent, even ash's snorlax would dodge like a Pikachu Quick Attack they are that glitched up! So it doesn't really matter if he decides whether to or not! But yea he should evolve them, then he would seem so much stronger than he is!

    He didn't evolve that awesome Krabby he caught in the Lighthouse episode! and when he hatched that Larvitar, I would have kept it and got myself a Tyranitar!
     
    I know he did the right thing but as happy as I am for butterfree and the others that had to go ther own way but I stillmiss them (snif)

    Pikachu- Obviously staying

    Staravia- Hopefully a Staraptor, but near the end *crosses finger for a meeting with Pidgeot and Staraptor*

    Turtwig- If you notice all of Ash's grass-starters you'll see Bulbasaur never evoled,
    Chikorita did once, and Treecko did twice, so go back to the beginning *crosses fingers for some TurtwigxBulbasaur shippingness*

    Chimchar-Evolve once- versus Paul, the end. Infernape is too ugly.

    Gliscor- Unable to.

    Buizel- As much as I would love for another evolved water type, Floatzel is ugly as hell. No.

    Bulbasaur- see Pikachu

    Kingler- See Gliscor

    Muk- See above

    Tauros-See above

    Snorlax- See above

    Heracross- See above

    Cynaquil- Evolve once, it would lose it's cuteness as a tough Typhlosion.

    Bayleef- Evolve, why? Because it would be awesome if she fell in love with Sceptile and evolved and Sceptile fell in love with her that'd just be sweet.

    Totodile- I wouldn't want it to evolve, as a Croconaw it just doesn't seem right. Maybe as a Feraligatr?

    Noctowl- See Heracross

    Donphan- See above

    Corphish- evolve end of.

    Sceptile- See Donphan.

    Torkoal- See above

    Swellow- See above

    Glalie- See above

    Squirtle- See Bulbasaur.

    Butterfree- Gone.

    Pidgeot- See Glalie

    Lapras- See above

    I'd like to see Ash rotate his squad more, but he doesn't because the idea is for the series to promote and advertise the new Pokémon and region. It's the series like Battle Frontier and Chronicles that you'll see old Characters and Pokémon, let's hope for Chronicles to return. I'd like to see how the Mayor's sun is doing on his journey, very good episode. He picked a Bulbasaur in the end, probably an Ivysaur or Venasaur by now.
     
    Well in battle frontier he evolved his phanpy.
    So maybe after sinnoh saga they will choose another to evolve.
     
    Most of his Pokemon didn't evolve because they were powerful just the way they are, plus they are mostly starters who are seen as "mascots" in my opinion, Corphish didn't evolve in Hoenn because of the relation with Team Aqua's Crawdaunt.
