I guess I'm like a bad sitcom 'cause I'm just background noise,
Muted actions striving for a ghosted end.
Meant to entertain, to give someone on whom you could depend,
But I'm just a pain, pain, pain,
and it's all the same, same, same.
All I want to do is have some gravity on you,
So that I mean more to you, my friend,
Than the latest popstar or pretty-faced trend.
The million dollar question is more of a confession
of why I hate famous pretty faces with a passion.
I have been through so much and have nothing to show,
while they can smile and cause the whole room to glow.
What have they done to deserve where they are?
What did I do to deserve where I am now?
What's the biggest difference between us?
Not the face, the hair, the voice, the song, the rhyme,
Not the smile, the fame, the shoes, the clothes, the lines.
The biggest thing between me and them?
I'm actually here. I know you are too.

SONG:
Would It Be Okay If I Ruined Your Night, Dear?
Please, forgi-i-ive me, for my p-p-p-p-p-p-punctuality-y-y-y,
'Cause I couldn't help but notice how comfy you look there, in that chair,
And, well, Darling, that's got to change.
So, believe me, when I say that, yeah, it's awkward, it couldn't be another way.
So, tell me...
.
Would it be okay with you,
if I just mess this up?
Would it be okay with you,
if I just never shut up?
And it would be so great,
if every once in a while,
you'd look at me smile,
while I stand and wait.
.
And, would it be okay,
while I'm standing here,
would it be okay,
while you sit there and pray,
if I ruined your night, Dear?
.
It'd be easy, like walking on razor blades.
Lay down in my grave, while you heap on embarassment in spades.
You know the dead have it easy, they learned to stop playing pretend,
they know we're all the same, and we all wind up dead in the end.
You know, it's been the longest time since your eyes met mine.
And if you looked in them now, I think you'd be shocked at what you'd find.
Recognition, a spark of indifference. It doesn't matter, the money's already spent!
I wish I no longer cared, but somehow you're still there,
and while we're both here, I thought I'd ask you, dear...
.
Would it be okay with you,
if I just mess this up?
Would it be okay with you,
if I just never shut up?
And it would be so great,
if every once in a while,
you'd look at me smile,
while I stand and wait.
.
And, would it be okay,
while I'm standing here,
would it be okay,
while you sit there and pray,
if I ruined your night, Dear?

SONG:
Eye-Opener
"And I can't breathe here,
Below the surface.
My greatest fear,
is that you did it in purpose.
I'm wishing on stars that are now black holes,
and I can't medicate the pain in my soul."
"I'm so sorry,
I didn't know I had hurt you,
and I really worry
about what you might do.
You know that I really do love you,
but I just can't see you
the way that you see me."
This is an eye opener, a wake up call.
Start thinking now, or you'll lose it all.
Even the blind can see with the mind,
like the heart wants what can tear it apart.
Thoughts are like cancers, misleading wrong answers,
of the dreams now broken, of hope that's now chokin'
in their crooked offspring, pouring out like a stream,
to spread the pain, and then no one's ever the same

It's All Fun And Games 'Till Someone Gets Pregnant (An Ode To Popular Girls and Teenage Dreams)
If I could pose a question,
or better yet, a suggestion?
I'd say that you should leave now,
just drop everything, and get out.
I can't take anymore of this.
Everything about you is hit or miss.
I'd ask what you're thinking,
but then again, you're probably not.
Lower and lower, you keep sinking,
I'm just hoping that someday you'll get caught.
Just waste your time! (And waste everyone else's, too.)
Drink away your life! (Never think, what you say or do.)
Just go and get high! (Nothing'll ever happen to you.)
Seeing straight is overrated, anyway.
Step on everyone! (Doesn't matter who you hurt.)
Go and have some fun! (There's a reason you always wear skirts.)
But I see right through it! (Behind the façade, you are dirt.)
I see the chaos in the fake beauty that you parade.
You're the prom queen, Miss All-American teen.
The one in all of the loser boys' dreams.
The V-necks get lower, and the skirts get higher.
The shorts get shorter, and the tees get tighter.
And oh, if only your parents knew,
they'll be grand by the time you're twenty-two.
You think that everyone likes the way you dress,
and honestly, I must confess,
That you completely disgust me.
I really don't like the paint on top of the ugly.
You're all completely insane,
Popping more pills than meds I take.
If only the drugs hadn't ruined your brain.
You're all the same, just different shades of fake.

The shorts get shorter, and the tees get tighter.
And oh, if only your parents knew,
they'll be grand by the time you're twenty-two.
Put your hands in the air,
Let them touch you everywhere.
'Cause I know you don't care,
I see it in what you wear.
You want boys to want you,
Because you don't.
I'm apart from those fools,
No matter what, I won't.
Just say, "Let's have a party, call me Shawty.
And if you're feelin' what I'm showin', raise a toast, pop a forty."
Just make a scene, act like you're living a dream.
But you're in a nightmare, you'll come to learn,
For you, no one cares, you can just go burn.
Burn, burn, burn down there.
You can brag, "Watch me get low!"
But...haha...I know EXACTLY how low you'll go!
I know how low, I know how low,
Where fires burn, and demons go.
I know how low, I know how low,
Where fires burn, and demons go.
I know how low, I know how low,
Where fires burn, and demons go.
I know how low, I know how low,
Where fires burn, and demons go.
You're all the same, just different shades of fake.
Just waste your time! (And waste everyone else's, too.)

SONG:
Silence So Loud
Hear me out, I promise this won't take long,
Just a few minutes in the form of a song.
Timing is everything, and life's got it down to a letter.
It knows how to bring you down just when you're getting better.
You may think differently, and that's okay.
Just know that, personally, I don't think that way.
I don't think it will matter if my thoughts leak out;
No one will hear them over this silence so loud.
If no one hears a thing I say,
Then not much has changed, and it doesn't matter anyway.
We've all been deafened by this silence so loud.
I'm not saying my life is the worst it could be,
Things just never go the way I think it should be.
All of the time in this lifelong race,
Everything seems to want to blow up in my face.
I don't think it will matter if my thoughts leak out;
No one will hear them over this silence so loud.
If no one hears a thing I say,
Then not much has changed, and it doesn't matter anyway.
We've all been deafened by this silence so loud.
Hear me out, I promise this won't take long,
Just a few minutes in the form of a song.
Timing is everything, and life's got it down to a letter.
It knows how to bring you down just when you're getting better

SONG:
She Said That He Said That They Were While He's With Who Did That From Him (High School Students Are Stupid)
Would somebody please hit the lies, strike up the liars,
call in the fakes, and cue all the vipers?
Stay for a while, they'll put on a show,
make something from nothing, turn dust to snow.
Lit by the tongue, rumors fly like fireworks,
Watch them flare, and just wait for the waterworks.
That's how it is everytime, I'll stab your back if you stab mine.
Life would be easier if somebody would please
kill the lies, snuff all the liars,
forsake the fakes, and crush all the vipers.
Everyone's a sheep with a wolf underneath,
a scapegoat for the blame when anyone has a need.
They tell fluid tales that slide between clenched teeth,
and everyone's a star and they all get the lead.
Just a spark whips up a fire,
Just a lie makes you a liar.
Now it's time for the main attraction,
and trust me, boys and girls, it's loaded with action!
Believe nothing you hear, some of what you see,
and you'll see for yourself what misery means!
Before we start...
That's all for now :)
