well I sort of revamped a little.Honestly in the image above I didn't really like the watery starter revampe.

Would of appreciated it if you asked before doing anything with my sprites...
 
If I may make a suggestion with the bird sprite in particular...

The way the feet are positioned, it looks like the poor thing would fall over backwards. I would position them a bit further back to make it look more balanced.
 
The ones I did look totally fine.
The other guys I can see what you mean.
