Audinite and Medichamite were released yesterday via an event code and should soon be usable on Pokemon Showdown. While Mega Audino will only be viable in the lower tiers, Mega Medicham could return as a threat in OU. It was really good last year due to it's fantastic movepool and offensive stats. It has a poor matchup vs a lot of the top OU threats such as the Tapus and Mega Metagross(though Poison Jab means none of the Tapus can switch into it), but could still arguably be the one of the best Fighting types available.

What are your thoughts on these mons?

    Still no gardevoir-mega.
Predicting a tapu and poison jabbing seems too situational. But then again situational plays are what can make a difference in a battle. And also it hurts the fact that tapu lele completely ignores fake out and/or bullet punch.
Though I like how phermosa can't do shit to medicham if caught on switch.

    Pheromosa's gone anyway.
I'm guessing either UU or BL for M-Medicham. I think there's probably too many dangerous checks/counters present in the SM OU meta compared to Gen 6.

Like Pie said, it's banned now so not an issue anyways, but Medicham can in no way switch into Pheromosa.

Out of curiosity, how much better/worse does physical Pheromosa fair?

I've not used it enough to properly rate, but I would assume similar enough. It has access to a stronger U-turn which is nice, Ice Beam still picks up important KOs like Landorus and Chomp. Poison Jab means Tapu Fini can't just freely switch in as well.

    I meant vs M-Medicham.
I could check myself but I'm too lazy xD

Greninja, M Meta, Koko, M Sableye, and the popularity of Scarf users (due to Pheromosa, might no longer be necessary) sucks for M Medicham. They might not hinder it that much, though. Medicham wrecks mostly everything else. On the bright side, Slowbro, Mew, Tornadus-T, Talonflame, etc. aren't common like they were in ORAS OU, and Medicham was just fine with them around. However, with major offensive threats getting banned like Pheromosa and Medicham coming back, M Sableye will probably become more prevelant. That won't be good for Medicham.

Also, Poison Jab seems a bit redundant at first glance. Ice Punch + TPunch provides better coverage and does ~65% or more to all of the Tapus.

Thunderpunch for Mantine and Pelipper I assume?(and Fini?). I was thinking of HJK/Zen Headbutt/Ice Punch/Poison Jab, but I do agree that Thunderpunch might be better. Not even sure if Bullet Punch is worth running with priority being meh and Fake Out isn't necessary for the same reason + the new speed mechanics. Could be useful for chip damage and scouting switchins I suppose.

(I'm not that familiar with what ORAS Megacham even ran to be truly honest)

TPunch hits Slowbro and Gyara, and is a reliable option vs Skarm, Celesteela, etc.

I also forgot about the new Speed mechanics. Poison Jab is even less worth running then. :P Zen Headbutt OHKOes Koko and Mimikyu, so Poison Jab is only for Lele, which takes 73% from elemental punches.
