"XD" is one of Andy's trademarks. If you see it used liberally in a post, then you can tell that it was written by his own hand (or, rather, typed). XD

PC opened in 2002 (as far as I know), and I've seen people use that smilie, myself included, since 2000. Not his trademark. ;x

btw, DCC keeps dying because the conversations are boring; to me at least~
