Random time paradox number one : In the year 2020 there is a police force that defends all of earth. Said police force is wipped out by an attack and earth is overtaken. Now skip ahead to the year 2040, a small faction of fighters is left and send one person back in time to help the police force. He goes back and stops them from being destroyed, okay so here's where the paradox plays in...
If they were never wiped out, that means there was no need for him to be sent back into the past, meaning that they were wipped out, meaning that he was sent back into the past, meaning that he wasn't sent back...and continue until we're all old and gray.
