5th Gen B/W spoiled me with speedy battles

I appreciate the faster battles in B/W, but IMO (and I may be in the minority) the battles in older games aren't that much slower to cause me all that much frustration... I'll gladly return to the older games without ever paying the slower battles any attention.
 
After playing through Black, I don't think I'll be going back to how HG/SS and D/P used to be, to be honest. Those battles were kinda too slow to me compared to B/W. I mean, there was one instance, when I went back to Diamond for a second, and the text was so significantly slower, that even if you set it to "fast", it would be a pain to navigate through.

And I know, this is far as text and dialogue speed is concerned. I'm not willing to have that much patience for battles, now. D:
