4th Gen Back in pokemon.

Hello. I wanted to come back to pokemon, but I don't know which version to get. Can you help me decide? Last time I got Pokemon Soul silver and I got bored at it so I went and trade it in. This time I want to get heart gold, but I don't know what else to get with the version. Right now I can't really play that much action pack game with the baby in the house. I have to wait until he turns one or something. Because all my baby does is sleep and eat. So let me know thanks. Oh did I missed any events while I'm gone. If so let me know. Thank you.

I've also tried to play games that doesn't need to have sound like pokemon. lol

TBH, HG is the same as SS - only different are some of the Pokemon you can get, and which you get first, Lugia or Ho-Oh. Pokemon is not an 'action-packed' game if you're looking to that genre (after all you can always play with the sound off I guess...) (And in regards to events - depends how long you were gone but there have been a few events last few months or so).

At any rate, questions about HGSS ought to go in the Help Thread sticky and if you want advice on getting games not called Pokemon, then I suggest checking out Other Video games for instance. As it's not clear what exactly you are asking for though, going to close.
