It does, 100%. Right stick controlling camera gives that game new life.

Granted, I've only heard the legends of the dreaded claw, but...I know enough. Back then I was kinda jealous that there were all these Monster Hunter portable games on the PSP and all I had was Tri for the Wii.

Now...let's just say I'm glad I waited until the Vita.

Really? Guess I'll be downloading it off the store later on and giving it a whirl then; I always wanted to get into it but...yeah. The claw. The claw is our master. The claw chooses who will go and who will stay. I left for a better place.

My copy of Stella Glow just arrived! I need to prioritise my games; I'm dabbling in too much at once again :3

I'm half tempted now to record some footage of me playing some games though it will just be me playing them without any commentary since I can't play + commentate for days. Brutal Doom: Project Brutality are in consideration. I heard that Bandicam is pretty good for low end PCs so i might try messing around with that.

For other things... Superhot.exe... super HOT. super HOT. super HOT. super HOT.

Yes. So yes.

I'm surprised, considering how big it was after release, no one made a thread for this game. Bought about a day or two after and it's pretty fun. Dunno if I'd say it's worth the full price, but I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a less conventional shooter.

Ideally during a sale, though I believe they have an in-game promotion where one person can, upon doing...something, receive a code for a discount the game. Dunno how much, though.

I've read reviews on SuperHOT and while most of it was pretty positive from everything with the core gameplay and aesthetics but a really good review from ggmanlives actually said something pretty valid about its major flaw:

Spoiler:

Delta was quite easy... dunno if you played original SS, but compared to that, Delta was a walk in the park in terms of difficulty.
Just the points grinding was hella annoying.
I didn't, no...wasn't Delta just the original game with some added content anyway? I found it fairly easy once I'd gotten set up, though. Well, some of the multiplayer quests were annoying, and anything with those irritating pegasus or phoenixes was a nuisance, but once I'd gotten adjusted to it I didn't have many issues...even with occasionally awful online partners. xD;
UGH, tell me about it...that took longer than the rest of the game!

It was. but after playing Delta, I definitely felt they tweaked the game to be easier and more open to the new players.

I soloed both and Delta was incomparably easier than vanilla SS.

You sure you didn't find it easier just because you were more used to it?
Were you going to give Toukiden a try? Apparently that's a lot harder, at least trophy-wise...I only played the demo, even though I own both games, haha. Might give it a shot now that I'm not trophy hunting. Spending 400+ hours on the game for Mitama didn't sound very appealing.

Well... there was like 1.5 year gap between plays and I haven't played any other karige in between (apart from finishing up Ragnarok Odyssey) so... probably that was not the case =D

Yea, I plan to. But as you say, the massive amount of hours needed for Plat is definitely making me worried =D
In any case, it will be after God Eater, that's for sure =D

That guy's voice is beyond creepy...and irritating.

Reminds me: must play more SW4. I have 4-II as well, and I might pick up Empires in the near future...I've gotten very attached to the series for some reason; it's much more engaging than Dynasty Warriors. I'd attribute that to a better cast. But then, SW's cast doesn't hold a candle to Sengoku Basara's.

Well he was playing Gracia's 4-II campaign. He couldn't resist sounding not normal. Typical Men!

Heck, High Elf Elrond has summed up a statement about creepy sounding men playing their fanservice:

Spoiler:

Then again, the thing i love about SW is that the things in SW basically "revved up" the rest of the DW Series in terms of the gameplay. It took 6 GAMES for Koei's DW team to figure out that Horse Calling, ACTUAL WEAPON CLASH METERS, and other essential stuff for combat is actually workable in the Warring Kingdoms setting. Oh god, remembering how flawed the old DW games are despite how i love all of them.

SW i love you. And Naotora and Gracia. (inb4isoundlikethatcreeepyguy)

Hey VG,What's better than a typical minigun in a typical video game?

HOW ABOUT A TRIPLE BARREL MINIGUN!?

I'm so half tempted to actually make a series of me showcasing this crud. I'm working on Bandicam and my lovely toaster of a laptop in order to for me to showcase some Brutal Doom: Project Brutality for Gaming Media.

I love video games.

It's definitely because of the writing. Warriors writing, at least as far as its own series are concerned, is very safe. Characters blend together and it's pretty rare that they have personalities outside of a few identifiable traits (like, for instance, Guan Yu is loyal and steadfast- but despite being a major RotTK character, that's all there is to him). Also, friendship. Betrayal. Yadayada. Can't say for sure how well this reflects their RotTK depictions, but they are pretty flat and can tend to blend together. SW, though, in my limited experience, does give the characters more colorful personalities.

But Sengoku Basara definitely takes advantage of its much smaller cast and over-the-top nature to make its cast stand out far more than S/DW. They're all individualized and have a ton of quirks, and you could quickly identifiable for things other than their appearance or voice. Not to say that these games completely stand on their characters alone. It's a wonder that, in recent entries, DW with its gigantic cast has managed to gameplay-wise (and animation-wise) make every single one of their characters stand out as an individual and feel wholly separate from the other unique officers. Kudos, Koei.

's too bad nobody bought Samurai Heroes, especially considering the money they put into the localization. If that'd done well, we'd probably have SenBas4 over here right now. And possibly 3 Utage and the 2 Wii ports. /sigh

I never thought of trying to do that...

... I'm going to have to bring twice the amount of money next time I go to the arcade.

The funny thing is that its not really just the dual wielding that's making him play so well. Its that he's really IN with the game, which i shate you not, it actually works if you "try" being the character in a rail shooter, where you do all those exaggerated actions such as pretending to reload the gun, getting the posture right, and of course, BLOOOD DANCING like a beast.

Sure it would make you look hawkward, but if you're kicking so much arse in that rail shooter like none of the casuals can, and they are all watching you do it, sure.

Allegedly the boxart to a Bioshock collection, which I would buy day 1.

I still haven't played BioShock Infinite yet (hell, I haven't even bought it) and it's been years since I played the first two games. I'd definitely pick up a collection on PS4 if one is coming out.
