Bad habits are hard to break!

I scratch my scalp a lot so now it's irritated haha. For some reason I'm always under the impression that I have dandruff even though I don't. I also like to twirl my hair around with my fingers, 'cause I like how it curls afterwards, but my mom always scolds me 'cause I get hair fall because of that. I have scalp issues, okay?

Just like Hikari, I like biting my fingernails. It helps me to pass time whenever I'm bored, and it helps me to calm my nerves as well. It's a horrible habit, though, because regardless of how many times you wash your hands throughout the day, they're always dirty. D: I make sure to keep a pack of gum in my pocket at all times, since chewing gum is the only thing that prevents me from biting my nails.

As soon as I get paid every week, I won't stop spending until I spend more than half of my money, so that's also one of my bad habits. My mom and dad constantly tell me to start saving these money for the future, but I just don't listen to them.

I talk in my sleep, A LOT! Seriously, my sister and mother told me I started screaming for them in my sleep and in the night, they wobbled my arm and calmed me, then I woke up and smiled at them, turned over and slept again, haha. xD

I peel at my lips unconsciously. Have been doing that for the past few years. I should stop, but as the title says, old habits die hard.

Procrastination. Everyone's worst nightmare. Well, almost everyone. This apparently doesn't affect my parents.

I get distracted very easily. I don't know whether it's a habit or not, but I can't seem to focus on something for more than 30 minutes maximum. Makes me wonder if I have undiagnosed ADD.

I scratch my head even though it doesn't itch. I don't know why I do. It's unconscious. All habits usually are.

Besides procrastination, I bite my nails a ton. I do it so much sometimes that I pull off skin and form hangnails. Then I also bite on my hangnails a lot too. Besides that, I mess with my nose and scratch my head even if it's not itchy.

i hardly admit my faults,i don't know i just feel silly ..eh,it's bad i know..i stick my tongue out whenever i say something silly or wrong or when i tease someone also i'm bad friend but it doesn't mean i don't care about my friends though ..and i always arrive late..not so late though just a little late lol ;p

i try my best not to lie ..but there is always those little white lies ..and yeah i know lies are lies but those are so little that you can't even count ..whatever...i don't know more..i'm just not the kind of person who watch themselves.

I have a habit of twirling my hair.(yes im a guy and have long hair). I duno why it just feels good to twirl. or whatever yo call it. mabye a girl can tell my why lol. I sometimes have a bad habit of chewing straws but I have stopped for now. I have a bad habit of being distracted. I have a strange habit of "dancing lol". I have a habit of cutting some words short like bulba(bublasaur). I have a habit of shaking my legs when I am sitting down(everybody doesd it).I have a habit of drooling in my sleep I could go on and on but I iwll just stop der.

N i dont mindif I posted all that personal info. It makes me feel good actually hahaaa. oh wait. the topic of this thread was "bad habits" oh well. lol

Nailbiting is the worst. I've been doing it for so long now. The worst thing is that if I put my mind to it, I can easily stop to the point where they get long. But then the feeling of having actually relatively long nails starts to annoy me and there's never a nail file around at the time. It's inconvenient. I feel like the best thing for nailbiting is an oral substitute like gum, but I can't really use that because "lolretainer". Life is hard.

About a year ago I have tried to break my habit of biting on my fingernails and I managed to until a week later when I chewed on them again. Currently I am trying so hard to break this habit because it is disgusting and it is a part of hygiene. When I enter a conversation with someone I hide my nails because it is embarrassing and looks ugly. Hopefully I can manage to break this habit!

Aside from biting my nails I have a tendency to delay a lot of my college work until the night before it is due. This is a bad habit since it becomes stressful and the work turned in is not the best of quality. This may take a while to break away from.

Just though that I'd comment on this because today I found myself biting my nails again after breaking the habit so many years ago. I'm not sure why I started biting them because I wasn't nervous or anything that would normally cause a person to do so. Maybe this is a bad habit that one never really "breaks" but learns to control? I'm not sure but this is certainly an annoying habit that I think so many people suffer from but are unable to stop doing it.
