My favorite characters are Shiek and Fox and of course Falco. The best alternate costume is definately White Marth, and Black Marth.
 
i like paying as link and falco, falco has hax or something on his side.
i dont even know why they bothered to make alternate costumes for link. (besides multiplayer)

Falco does not have "hax" on him. Fox is better than Falco, not doubt about that. They had to make a new tier for Fox, since he was so ungodly.
 
Mwehehe. My goal is to punch the tier system in the eyes! I despise it so...

But yeah. I honestly hope the "wavedash" no longer exists in Brawl. I don't see what's so great about it, other than that "professional Smashers" abuse it more than computer players abuse the powershield. It's not a real technique! Kwaah...

I can't help but laugh at it though. Basically, "professionals" fear anything that can turn the tide in battle, including the existence of items and any stage with something more than a minor gimmick. I, for one, think that it takes real skill to fight while keeping up with Icicle Mountain... they probably just don't like it because the dropthrough floors stop their wavedashing. Wimps.
 
*shivers* I wavedash and use all the advanced stuff and I hate playing with items on
becasue it is to me a cheating way to victory. Why is it called wavedash?
 
Sorry if my rant offended you, ChronicNightmare. I get like that sometimes. ;)

So items are a cheating way to victory? And what if the other guy gets one? Whose victory is it then? I love surprise turnarounds.

Mostly, I love the randomness of the game. To test my skill, I'll play Final Destination with no items, but I also love playing on weird stages with all the items on.

And the most advanced thing I ever pull is the occasional lucky powershield. The wavedash (the name's origin I don't know, by the way.) seems pretty useless to me.

I always use underused people like Link, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff. Although I also play a pretty mean (WD free) Marth.

i meant by hax; something like, everytime you use falcos up+b move and he goes into the ball of fire; people can't usually hit him.

What, in your opinion, is the most annoying/difficult dungeon? (In any game)
 
"In any game?" That's a little off-topic, isn't it? But, I'll tell what fights in Smash I have the most trouble with.

Team Battles.

I'm talking about Classic and Adventure. I always play on Hard or Very Hard, and trust me; on high difficulties, they destroy everything. And they are so hard to kill!

Similarly, in All-Star, I don't die until I get to the 2- or 3-person matches. It's really annoying.
 
OMG! I was browsing youtube yesterday and remember about the demo of Smash Brothers Brawl and looked it up and I found some awesome videos. I am to lazy to give you guys links, but if you get the time look it up and check it out.
 
If you could choose any character from games, shows, etc. to add to Brawl before it's released, who would you choose and what kind of powers would you give them? And if you had a Secret Combo Special, what would it be?

I'd choose Ichigo Kurosaki in shinigami form. Powers, I'd say:

Special: Getsuga Tenshou (Kuroi Getsuga in Vizard form) (Large blast of blue or black reiatsu cutting the ground in its path)
Down Special: Tensa Zangetsu Form (Disappears in the same way Kirby loses absorbed powers: Extreme beating up)
Up Special: Reiatsu Uppercut (A large amount of energy surrounds Zangetsu, extending the blade, but the extension shows as a blue reiatsu (Black in Tensa Zangetsu and Vizard forms), pauses in mid-air, and cuts down like Kirby's Final Cutter)

Secret Combo: Vizard Form: Special, Up Special, Down Special during mid-air pause, Special (Hollow Mask begins to and continues to form over Ichigo's face until the mask takes over his entire face, where Hollow Ichigo takes over, strengthening every one of Ichigo's attacks)
 
I think that would be kinda like a godly version of Ike. Anyway the actual topic is:-
What character do you want to see in Brawl? Include a link for those who don't know the character and movesets if possible.
 
i actually really wanted to see sonic.
and hes in brawl.

i cant really see how the pokemon trainer will work though.

will they remove charizard from coming out of pokeballs?
 
Can I join I'm a masive melee fan and I check the dojo every day need brawl by the way

also I main falco I hope falco, luigi and Ganondorf are returnin to brawl

Plus I am tryin to figure out how to play melee and go on computer at same time
 
I'm kinda hoping for at least one other Sonic character. Tails maybe?

As I said before, he could fly with up+B.
