Hey there! If you transfer the 3 'mons from X to Pokémon Bank on your 3DS, you can then click a button from the main menu to transfer them to Pokémon Home. This will then allow you to transfer whichever "boxes" from Bank that you'd like to be migrated over to Home (you can select "all" & have all your boxes transferred, as well.) - Hope this helps!
