I'll go against ya! there's no such thing as 'hax items', all hold items are fair and can be used as the player pleaseStanderd clauses
no ubers/hacks
no hax items
Anyone want to step up?

so you're saying that there's an item like BrightPowder that can do something that it shouldn't do or you're saying that items like BrightPoweder are hax item, if you are then you should complain to GameFreaks and tell them that they're haxorzUm, yeah, there are.
~
I think you guys need to have a better name for them cause 'hax' doesn't suit those items as they are officialUm, Gamefreak doesn't socially declare rules for competitive battling. It's up to us gamers to do it. And we say, there are.
even if someone says 'no hax items', do you think they would listen themselves? You don't get the idea behind hax. Its not an abbreviation of 'hacks', its a word to describe something that wins through luck over skill
E.g Speed deoxys gets OHKOed by a dialga with quick claw, something that only works 10% of the time.
It just ensures fair play. Ooka is right, and you'll have trouble finding anyone who doesn't play with this clause.
no, I meant that the one who set up the rule might be using those items while the other one just listens them him/her and don't use themMost competitive battlers do listen. ;p
lets say that you've been challenged with this clause, you've waited half an hour to battle and find out he/she broke the clause, are you going to quit and waste that 30 mins of your life or are you going to continue battling? If you see the item used in battle then you know he broke the clause.....>_>
An Eq wouldn't normally miss a target would it? Oh he has brightpower! duh.
