BAton pass and stats

    I've finally found frostweavers guide and read it. About the baton pass he said something about passing on increased stats. So if a poke used calm mind and the used baton pass, the pokemon that just came out has that stat boost. Am i correct or did I misunderstand him?

    And law < mercy... Be kind to the poor member with just 20 posts? He's still new... GIVE HIM A BREAK! One mistake doesn't require 6 posts chasing after him. Give him the time to adjust... =/

    Remember... we all have our days when we have no idea what we should and shouldn't do in PC, and spams and post stuff in wrong places and so on... If I'm to be picky, I can find 3 posts for each of you to "report" all of you too.


    We mods try to make this a fun place for everyone. We aren't so strict on the rules, and is certainly more than welcome to give people chances to change. Regarding my closing policy, I don't close unless it involves major wrong doings such as linking to pornography (refer to annoucements), a Feebas question, or a thread that has lost control of itself. Just leave it here as it is... the question si answered, so let it sink to the bottom of the list by itself... no need to close all the threads that has the question answered.

    hmm not to get off topic or anything, but how in the world was my post spam? I answered his Q, and doing that doesent break the rules. <_< If your trying to say it's spam because I basically repeated what lil' Jose said than your wrong, it's just at that moment when I was about to reply I was 3 minutes late, and did not notice the guy posted. Anyways no point posting here anymore...

    spam is something that is completely irrevavent to the topic (ex. Bird Lords coooooooooooool) that u post to earn urself an extra post in ur user data.
     
    I answereed his question and so did bladeguy man thing (?) but afterward he did spam but I shouldn't of reported him. Afterall he is new to this so, sorry birdlord. Terribly sorry.

    On topic. Baton pass is also used to get rid of a staus problem on one pokemon that probably doesn't have a high enough HP to survive a burn or something then they switch it off to a pokemon with a higher HP. So that's how baton pass works.

    SPAM = Stupid Pointless Annoying Message... if it has no meaning, or if the post is exactly the same as another post in the thread just with different wordings, it's considered a SPAM. SPAMming is not allowed in PC. Many of you guys' posts are considered SPAM because what your posts said are already covered and talked about by another post. This characteristic of SPAM is always forgotton by members... gotta remember it to save yourself from trouble ;p

    baton pass also passes negative effects, such as mean look and leech seed though... so beware.
     
    Confusion is passed, Attract is not. Sub is passed, Perish count is passed, Partial trapping is also passed, and in GSC, the Toxic effect of a poisoned pokemon will be passed on to another pokemon who is pre-poisoned, I believe.
