4th Gen Battle calls

It was never quite frequent in Gold and Silver either, but I've got 30 hours of game play in Soul Silver now, just caught the red Gyarados in Lake Rage, and not even ONCE have anyone called me up for a rematch battle.

Is this strange? Or are the "rematch calls" something that will activate later on in the game? Like the trainers eye in Ruby and Sapphire. You got it quite early in game, but it didn't start to pop up any rematch marks before you entered that city with the tree houses.

I missed the phone feature, because I thought it was so cozy, but I'm terribly disappointed in it so far, I had hoped for some massive update of it. Perhaps being able to call and ASK for rematches. It's always on the others terms. > : |

I didn't get rematch calls until I think after I finished the Team Rocket events...somewhere around then, so you're close. Just keep at it and you'll get a rematch call soon enough~ ^^;

Edit: Oh, and you can call for rematches, too. They're just available at certain times of the day on certain days. Here's a schedule~

Ah that's awesome, beacause for the moment I don't really feel like I have any spots where I find it fun and easy to level up. People have been calling me frequently so far, but never for rematches, only to brag about their amazing rattatas, and how they saw a pidgey for the first time in their lives(!!!). (Though that same pidgey person has called me about that more than five times by now. xD)

OH so they DID update the phone application after all! Now I feel a little bit better. Thank you <3
