    Even though I'm not that much of a huge fan of the anime, how come in every Japanese fansite has Anabel doing this pose and what does it exactly mean?

    Yeah!^^ I watch that AG a few day ago....And I must say Anabel is really cute!!^^ And yes, she had a crush on Ash, like Lucy did with Brock!^^ And...about her age...She must be around 14-15 years old...or maybe 16! And, at the end of this episode...I readed that she said ''I hope our paths will meet again someday, Ash!'', but I'm not really sure!^^''

    Like alot of characters, there is no exact age for her. I personally think she looks to be about the same age as Ash, possibally a year older (though I don't know how old he really is now). I put her around 13 or 14 actually.


    Its all speculation at this point for anyone except May really.

    But I never knew that 14-16 year olds can actually take control of a Battle Frontier building. But that can also be flse because Tate and Lisa look like they are Ash's age. They really should tell the age of the characters

    I know, that is why the anime isn't all that great since it doesn't have all the depth about the human characters personal life and stuff.
     
    Yeah I agree with you,guys^^Anabel had a crush on Ash and I think that they could be great couple:)Anabel is my favourite Frontier Brain,she is adorable,sweet and in addition pretty powerful trainer^^(Ash lost to her in first battle).I like Battle Tower episodes very much,it was cool battle.Besides that she had my favourite pokemon Espeon and used it against Ash^^

    The AshxAnabel pairing has an official name already. It has been dubbed as Abilityshipping, or SatoRira in Japanese.
     
    Even though im a loyal pokeshipping and havent seen the Battle Frontier yet i'd have to agree that Ash & Anabel would make a good couple cause they are both powerful trainers

    But Ash & Misty make an even cutier couple not due to their ability of getting out of tight situations during battles but because they both have intuition that can tell them which one is in danger

    So all in all we might have another shipping on our hands cause Ash & Anabel and Ash & Misty are both perfect couple combinations :)
