6th Gen Battle Frontier Speculation [Spoilers]

A new trailer was just released today and it showed us this:

By the looks of that, that could be the Battle Arena. Could this mean the Battle Frontier will be returning?

I think they are dried leaves like those seen in Eruteak city in the Johto remakes, especially as they seem to resemble Cherry Blossoms falling, which is a cultural motif in Japan. Except like Eruteak this seems to imply fall instead of spring which the cherry blossoms represent.

Maybe. After all the pathway seems to long to be the place that looks like that in battle frontier.....and I'm pretty sure those are clouds. But what purpose could it have.

Well. They could place the Battle Frontier in the clouds and go for a mythical, Mount Olympus, type vibe.

I initially thought that was the pathway to an Elite Four member, probably Phoebe.

Anyone remembers how the existing Arena looks like? I'm at work and it's not very convenient for me to do search... But I'm excited :(

Wait...there is a chance that it could be the League building itself, as it had the most Japanese like vibe in Hoenn. Also Ever Grande City is quite high up in the air when you think about it. Also what looks like ash could be petals from the flowers Ever Grande City is famous for.

Yeah, I went and looked back at the map awhile ago too and noticed that roof looks similar... So I guess the Battle Frontier is still a toss up...

Its look more like Lavaridge city where you battle Flannary.
However , It look very beautiful but we will never see it in Anime.

Lavaridge has no ash or any flowers blowing across it. Also all of the gyms minus Fortree appear to have the same basic design.

However, I don't think Gamefreak is stupid enough not to put in the battle frontier, it might only be from Emerald, but many people wish to see it return.

The chances at it's the League building just seem to keep going up...

I'm not quite following what you guys seem to think this building is? Cause it looks nothing like the Pokemon League building at all to me

Whereas it looks much more similar to the arena in my opinion

I'm thinking more along the lines of the connecting rooms from one league room to another, i.e the walkway towards Sidneys room after entering the door in the Pokémon League. Although, it could just as easily be the image you've posted at the Battle Frontier but with a complete graphical overhaul.
