The battle factory is one of the two battle frontier places I actually like. It seems to offer a very rewarding satisfation when they compliment your awesomeness haha.

I just can't seem to beat it though, I can't even get a 14 win streak!!! Every time I'm on battle 12 or 13, it seems luck just rolls down hill. I'll start getting unlucky misses. The AI will get criticals and when I'm confused it seems that I ALWAYSSS hurt myself.

Any one have any tips on being succesful here? Post your stories with this one I need some guidance!

    Edit by Karen:
Why not discuss the Battle Frontier in completion here?
Discuss what's good, what's bad, and your stories about hax and whatnot here. :)

Have fun with discussion over there, guys~ Sorry to lock your awesome thread, CrasH, but it's pointless with the new official thread. ~BeachBoy

Lmao, I love the Battle Factory. I'm really good at it. I've still yet to get Gold though

Hate the Platinum Factory, Thorton keeps killing me with his incredibly unfair advantage. Gardevoir, Jolteon, and Swampert vs. Sneasel, Gligar, and Ivysaur. Emerald's was way better IMO. Noland had style, Thorton is a d-bag.

You should probably know what the in-game trainers' teams and strategies are now so try making little fixes to your team to counter them. For example, you could let your pokemon hold a Persim berry, that way, it won't be confused anymore. Try leveling your pokemon a bit more too, if they're levels are lower than 100 of course, and try again. :D

...Huh? This is the Battle Factory we're talking about ._. All the pokemon you use are rentals

I can't even make it to him.. Am I really failing so hard? Or is it actually a challenge?

Perhaps it's simply because you do Open Level? I'm always doing Lvl. 50 and I do just fine. Your lead Pokemon is the most important, since you can't know what your foe's team will be. I've always preferred to lead with something with good speed. Ninjask is an excellent choice

I didn't like using all the baby pokemon haha. It was more fun using the beast mode pokes.
usually I lead with a fast hard hitting poke. The most common leads for me so far have been Absol, Infernape, or sceptile. then I get a bulky def type for my leads weakness, and the 3rd guy I adjust to whatever my opponent has. I usualyl keep two, and trade 1 if need be.. I just can't seem to get a good streak going though. I might go back to the battle tower and finish off my 48 streak and doop on palmer.

I seem to win alot there more than I win anywere else because all the pokemon are the same level. My highest level pokemon is 60 and everyone else are at level 50 so I usually lose at all the other places. I usually pick diff. types every time so anytime I come across a fire or rock pokemon I just put out my water type. So my Suggestion is to just choose diff. types when picking your pokemon.

Platinum Battle Frontier could have been better?

Don't get me wrong, the BF in Platinum is great, and the graphics are amazing for a DS game!

But some of the previous BF facilities that I enjoyed like the battle pike were left out. Sure the arcade is great, but that is somewhat of a less variety.

This is just my opinion, what do you guy think?

P.S.- I LOVE the platinum BF, don't get me wrong on that :D

I think it fine just the way it is, yes some of the things are left out like the riddle battle pike, and things like that but in my opinion they made that up by adding the cool arcade and the scratch out thing where you get to get items if you match 3 in a row. :)

Well, I think it's fine the way it is. :)

And don't forget the numerous Pokémon you get to battle against. They also did a better job with this, because off the other 100+ Pokémon, these battles at the Frontier in Platinum help you with better strategies for later battles, like over Wi-Fi.

I'd like a Battle Pike. The arcade seems kind of dumb.

Yeah, graphics are great for a Ds game...but my favorite battle place in Emerald was the the Pike...sorta like the arcade.

I think the Battle Frontier is good enough as it is...it contains a lot already for the longest Pokemon game ever.

The scratchcards were great, but I've never actually won from it. However, I continue to waste my BP buying and scratching them :P
