Battle Log - Post Your's Here - Rules and an Example Included

so i recently made a team and it's been performing well because it's quite strategic, so rather posting the team, i thought it'd be nice to demonstrate how its used in a 'mock' battle log of the battle i just had with a guy from smogon.

now let me warn you that i've never done a battle log because it's harder on me when shoddy or net battle doesn't work on my computer =/ there may be some errors on my part, so forgive me on that. the damage percentages will just be estimates.

NUUUU!! when i saw its HP going down, i was about to scream in joy until it stopped =( i thought destiny bond lasted for the 2 next WHOLE turns. i learned the hard way that it's actually the opponents 2 NEXT turns after it was used. also, might i add, i'm not sure what him trying to lure slowbro in for a tbolt was going to do ._. slowbro would've went first. o.O

always nice to see this guy in battle, and this one is one bulky venu. i'm thinking i might be able to take it out with an ice beam, but not that it matters anyway. he'll just try to put me to sleep if it doesn't kill him, not knowing i have a lum berry on suicune. huge disappointment on his behalf, which always makes me smile.

NUUUUU. i was so hoping it wasn't a CM blissey. he should have just twaved me so i could get an extra CM in there. well at this point, i felt i should just try outstalling considering i am 2 CMs ahead, but then i remembered -- most CMBliss have Serene Grace.

hmm... well i was quite expecting him to forget the whole Freeze/Para hax strategy and start using CM, but he instead makes way to abuse abilities, specifically Dry Skin. at this point i'm thinking i underestimated this guy and he may be a much better battler than i gave him credit for.

ok i take back my last statement. he might still have Vacuum Wave, so i make sure to switch in entei so that he scares him away. i'm half expecting him to switch back to garchomp, but it may have focus sash.

now notice here it's quite obvious that it seems like blissey is making a veggie omelet out of Parasect, but here's the surprise i referred to earlier:

why didn't i just use Brick Break earlier? since I had already burned Slowbro earlier, there was no way i could put it to sleep, so i had to bring Blissey's hp down before giving it the final blow while keeping Slowbro out of the battle. it's a good thing it didn't freeze me because there'd be no recovering from that. i'd still be able to beat him with Illumize using Twave + Golem going on a rampage, but i wanted parasect to take care of things.

and now some PROS and CONS, perhaps the only thing i'd steal from Smogon.

PROS:
-underrated Fire type Pokemon, specifically Entei. all of them can run the SubWOW + Fire Blast set, and without it on this team, i would have not been able to reduce Garchomp and Slowbro to the perfect amount of HP to KO them.
-Illumise. it did everything it set out to do in this battle and managed to do it without receiving damage. with tinted lens, thunderbolt, choice scarf and encore, it can just about counter anything that deems itself a threat.
-Parasect... for being too cool for school.

CONS:
-STINGINESS. if a pokemon needs more than one Swords Dance/Nasty Plot before you're happy enough to attack, then please do not battle.
-overpredictions. this really hurt the guy i was battling. he seems to be a decent battler, so that's besides the fact that he made some predictable moves.
