No battle rules. All Pokémon are allowed. Please don't use hacked Pokémon, that's not fair. And you can be banned from Nintendo WFC if you use hacked Pokémon. My cousin is banned now because he used hacked Pokémon.

Please note: I have the European version of the game. But can I trade and battle with an American version?

yes you can trade between different versions of the game. you can even trade with the japanese, just so you know.

and i doubt people get banned for using hacked pokemon because i still see the same hackers on wifi.
