I remember I battle some1 with an Aerodactyl last night and it KO my Staraptor with 1 Ice Fang :(

buy yeah I would be kind of mad if my pkmn missed but if Heracross didn't miss it would probably go like this -
Heracross destroys Charizard with 1 Stone Edge then I sent out my Tyranitar and Heracross goes for a Close Combat... and the match is over

i know his aerodactyl is trained. after intimidate, it should do about 55% damage to staraptor.
