2nd Gen Battle Prof. Oak?!?!

    Yes.

    However, through the use of a GS/AR or some cheat device, you can battle Prof. Oak. In the Japanese version, of course. I don't know about English.

    In case of those non-believers, I will post the link.

    Sorry if this has already been posted, I looked in Search for "Battle Prof. Oak" and I got Fan fiction...

    fake, i think, coz no raticate in the WORLD has only one atk = =! Very stupid... it's like lvl 10 magikarp beat a lvl 2 Wurmple.. Cant Happen coz magikarp has 20 freeking splashes = =

    Ever think that the Raticate visited the Move Deleter?
     
    I've battled him before, using a GS code (which I forgot, saw it on a cheat site), but instead of doing a proper battle, everything glitched up and he released a pokemon that was bunch of blocks and everything froze.
    I think I still have my screenshot of the screen saying he wanted to battle me. *searches*
     
    Its real. I use to have a GameShark and that was one of the codes for it. It is possible. Also it looks like the person use cheat codes for his pokemon. Note the Raticate.

    Their was a thread like this back before the problems back in September 2006 where a user showed the code to battle Professor Oak with screenshots, so yes it is real.
     
    It's real tried it in yellow no glicth pokemon

    Raticate could have been traded to GSC and had it's other moves deleted

    It was a tackle attack for sure but i dont see how a raticate would have sufficient attack power to make pokemon faint with a tackle attack.

    I had that happen once. But that Clip was very strange. I didnt think it was actualy possible It seems prof. Oak is a little cheap. Look at the amount of cash he gives you when you beat him

    Yes, it was using tackle. It is possible, remember it was a level 100 with 190 or something attack against lvl 60s which probably had considerably lower stats compared to it. So a couple of tackles I suppose should do it.

    You should also take notice that the other pokemon that he carried werent even above lvl 15. It was a cheated raticate, simply used for this purpose I guess. Showing off with tackle?

    Maybe they were going to program him as a sort of last-battle before you battle the E4, like the mystery last gym leader!

    BTW, I don't take credit for that video, I just found it.

    And I don't know why Raticate sucks so bad. Mmmk~

    It dosen't matter if it's strange that it's attacks were weird, it's a glitch, and glitches are always weird
