4th Gen Battle Tower?

    So from why I understand only Pokemon below 50 are allowed and if they're above that their levels are temporarily knocked down to lv.50.
    Can I still earn EVs and level up if my pokemon are normally above lv.50? And can a pokemon evolve? And if a pokemon can't do either - what's the point of the Battle Tower (apart from completing my pokedex)?
    And one more question - I really want to level up some of my pokemon, they're in the 20's right now will I be able to battle other pokemon that are within the same level group or will I be completely over powered?

    Battle tower doesn't level up your Pokemon or help you complete your pokedex. It lets you test out your team, earn bragging rights, get a couple tropheys for your secrets base, collect points to exchange for items you may want, and earn a star for your trainer card (with a 100 win streak)

    Nope, any pokemon from 1 to 100 is allowed. (Although using ones below 50 is discouraged.)

    There is no experience, EVs or EXP, gained in the Battle Tower.

    You can't complete your pokedex in the Battle Tower. You can get a star on your Trainer Card for 100 straight wins, and get Battle Points to buy TMs and items (most notably Power Items).

    They will be in their twenties, fighting level 50 pokemon. They don't get any experience, so they won't level up.

    you keep going up to the lady after that and competing be warned it gets hard and you fight the tower tycoon after the 21 match

    I didnt know you could get a streak above 7. I think what i did was i had the same team 2 times in a row, but the second time my team was in a different order and it stopped my streak.
