    Welcome to the Battle Zone
    Here I will post match-ups between two Pokemon. Reviews should be based upon the series/manga, not the games. Always refer back to this post to see the new match-up which will be updated every week (unless I have pressing military business which it will then be updated when possible).
    Five Simple Rules
    ​

    1. Common sense (or I'd like to think), do not flame anyone else for their opinion.
    2. Try to keep an open mind about the match-ups. While I understand you may want to play favorites, try to look at it in an analytical perspective.
    3. Try to describe as well as you can why you think either Pokemon would win. Simple one-liners of 'I think so-n-so will win' won't suffice.
    4. Suggestions for future battles should be sent to me via PM/VM. Please do not clutter the thread with your own 'okay! what about these guys?!'. If I choose your match-up, you will be given credit.
    5. Have fun!

    Cobra versus Mongoose

    My Take: If you've heard of the story of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, then you know how it ends, with the Mongoose coming out on top. Here, I think it'll be no different. I think Zangoose has more speed and power and would run circles around the Seviper. That's not to say the Seviper isn't without it's quick strikes and agility, but I just feel the Zangoose has the edge in this battle.

    Well the first try didn't fair as well as I'd like, but let's see if the second go around can give it the kick it needs to get going!!
     
    Well Seviper is a tough opponent to beat with its high attack and special attack, but Zangoose is just that much stronger and faster than it
