So,
this simple tutorial is going to show you how to Index your images to make them look good in RM2k/3.
So, I want to get this lovely picture of a bunny wabbit into Rm2k3, but..Oh no! The evil "Invalid colour depth" error pops up.
No problem! I'll just open up Photoshop and Index it.
1. Go to Image > Mode > Indexed Colour
2.Copy the settings from the image below and click Ok. As you can see we now have a 256 colour image with minimal colour loss.
3. Save it and you're done!
If you don't have Photoshop or a program like it then you are going to experiance major color loss.
1.Open up your image in Paint and simply save it as a 256 colour .bmp
2. Prepare yourself for some extreme uglyness
Ew? I thought so haha..
I hope this tutorial was helpful, please feel free to post questions on it.
