[Other] Beginner With a Thought

[SIZE="3[FONT="Gloria Hallelujah"][/FONT]"]I'm a beginner at all this. Like WAY beginner. I just discovered Pokemon Hacks. Yeah, late, I know. I don't spend a whole lot online anymore, because I had two kids. But, basically, I want to make a hack. Or, well, I was going to see if someone, or someones, would be willing to help me. I don't know how to make a hack. I don't draw very good. I do, however, have great ideas that I'd like to see in a playable Pokemon game. In the next few pages, I will tell you a little about myself and a brief summary about my Pokemon Storyline. [/SIZE]

As a person who recently stepped up from WAY beginner to somewhat beginner I can assure you that the help you recieve from this community will be awesome and limitless. However, if you want help beyond questions and troubleshooting you could try to form a team in the Team Room section of the forum.

I suggest you download a ROM to play around with, get familiar with the tools. You can find lots of beginner tutorials in these forums. Take especially note of how XSE and Advance Map works. Good luck.

What you need to know about me. My name is PokeSteph55. Call me whatever. It doesn't matter. I love Pokemon. I've played most of the games, I've owned most of the games, I've watched the anime, and I've had the training cards. I also like to write. I've started books, currently I am writing a fanfiction Harry Potter, but I haven't had much luck finishing one. I have a brief summary of the storyline I've thought of. I have a few dialogue ideas, and a basic outline of what I want my characters to look like. I'll cover all of that in the next few posts.

So here's what I need. Someone who can draw characters, or however you make new ones, and someone who can do the actual hack. I don't want Fakemon. If possible, all Pokemon from the original games up to X and Y, but if that's too difficult then at least to the Sinnoh region. Unova if it's not asking too much.

Creating an entire hack by oneself is VERY difficult and time consuming (Although, possible). So many things to edit. {XD}
But, having an understanding on the most crucial aspects of creating the hack will be very helpful. Many people here, as far as I've understood, prefer one aspect of hacking, and thus kind of specializes in that area. That's why the Team Room is excellent. You can for example realize you love mapping, but you're struggling with scripting, or the insertion of the additional pokemon. It won't take long to find people who fit your needs to help you out. :)

I do agree with Maglor, the team room is perfect to start :) I know how to hack it's just been a little while since i have,i can assist you in whatever area you need just contact me if you ever need some help.
