This is more about the art than it is all of the aspects of a good banner. I've been told my label, my art... was dying. I need to appeal to more than one audience, though. So I came up with this conclusion.

This isn't pure stock, and it's certainly not a common trend. It's very similar to my usual artistic grunge/abstract style, with the smudge, but a bit evolved in terms of color and lighting. I was supposed to be making a trend*****y sig, but I decided that I was tired of following some "majority." So here I am, back where I started. Only this one's got a stock.

the banner looks too much like the tutorial and the text is barely notive able and a little small ;)

Jesus, how many times do I have to say it?! Text DOES NOT HAVE TO BE LEGIBLE... It's your monitor, you've got a windows and can hardly see that. Don't say I made it that way. That tutorial is mine, you can't tell me it looks too much like my own work. What? You're saying it isn't my original work? That banner is mine, I spent hours on it. You can go ahead and defile my hard work, and have all your little fun, but you have no idea what I made and what I didn't.

and i didnt say there was anything wrong with using a tutorial or that style even if it is yours =P
